Over on another forum, I read a little bit about people getting Tattoo's done in Thailand. Its obviously a lot cheaper than in the west and seems to me a lot neater - at least from what I've seen on LB's.

Has anyone here gotten a tat done or recolored it in LOS and would you recommend an artist?

P.S. I know this isn't lb related but since sometimes Tats identify the person.. I thought it'd be better here in the VIP Area so we could post more freely.

They certainly are a lot cheaper in Thailand but same as getting a tattoo done in any city in the world you should shop around and check things out well first .

Hygiene is the most important factor , any decent artist will use new needles and sterilize the gun , insist on this and ask to see it done or don't bother .

Have a good look around and check out their work , if someone works from freehand and not transfers they are a good tattoo artist , the best around .

In Pattaya check out Art Street (The little soi that runs down the side of Mikes Shopping Mall between second and beach road )
That soi is full of tattoo studio's and art shops , you'll be spoilt for choice there .

I got a nice tat done in the middle of that soi , can't remember the name though , the guy had long black hair , a goatee beard and was covered in tats himself which narrows it down to just about every tattoo artist in Pattaya , I could show you the shop though

Hey all,

I have had work done on shoulders, chest and inner arms in Thailand. The best, finest work was also the cheapest, done on Koh Chang. If you get tattooed around Nana expect to pay falang prices.

I had my tattoo done in a shop called Wong's on Sukhumvit Soi5 (BKK) directly opposite Gulliver's back in Aug 2004

She is the wife of a quite famous tattooist I believe who travels the World, both names begin with "J" but I cant think of them on the top of my head  

The shop was full of Dutch Biker type fellas (many tattoos) at the time visiting the shop to say "hello"

I was quite expensive considering Thailand prices but she did use new needles and the gun was sterilized

My arm is still working fine 6 years later on anyway

I really don't understand people's obsession with that flag AB. I mean it signifies so many wrong ideals - intolerance, injustice, oppression, slavery and cruelty to name a few.

So what is it that makes it so attractive to so many? Is it like the Nazi uniforms that are just so attractive. I mean here's an irony.. one of my friends is Jewish. Yet to costume balls he often wears Nazi uniforms. Someone asked him why.. he said the uniforms are just so snazzy. Nothing comes close!



And dave that's pretty nicely done.

What would you think of this tattoo? I think the right leg came out bad.. too dark.
