Yeah...the fact that I'm even still thinking about funding this speaks to my desperation as a HK-based LB lover...

Basically I'm stuck here until Xmas for work reasons - I don't work weekends so in theory I could hop on a Friday night flight to BKK, back Sunday arvo...but I'm usually knackered by the end of the week and tackling 48 hours (more like 40) in BKK with no fuel in the tank would equally be a waste of time and money...plus I'd be f*cked for the following Monday!

So I can either import, or take my chances with the random Thai LBs who find their way to Wanchai. The latter used to be a reasonable gamble, but lately the talent touring HK has been awful. Not sure why, given the reported quiet low season in Thailand...I'm guessing the Thais just find it easier to fly in Singapore for a month or so.

(I know there are heaps of Phils and Indo LBs who tour HK and advertise on the internet - been there, done that and personally I find the Thais are so much better that there is no point wasting my money on anything else. I accept that this is a minority view, but horses for courses...)
