you guys MUST check out soi 4 Ratchada road sometime!! awesome place......lots of great bars and good music, lots of beautiful ladies and they WILL hit on you!! Trust me; I am no Tom Cruise and even I can get laid there. Ladyboys also; girls from the Mambo hang there often, and the last time we went over there we also ran into about 10 of the Cascades crowd, who go there after work to try and meet Thai guys [remember, this is a Thai place and farangs make up about 1% of the crowd]. They all hang next door after the clubs close at a place called Bali Seafood and there were dozens of ladyboys in there and hundreds and hundreds of cute ladies.

HIGHLY recommended! Went there recently with one of the website affiliates and loved it there. You can have a great time and also meet many new friends; the Thai's will come right over and offer to buy you a beer, and the ladies are brazen and will come over and introduce themselves and it's a matter of just saying 'yes' and you can go home with many people of different genders here. Of course you may want to go and hang with the Cascades crowd at Bali Seafood and there is nothing wrong with that either.

check it out when in BKK..... it starts happening around 1030.....tell the taxi 'Soi Cee, Ratchada road'.....expect to sit in traffic.

I second Jaidee's enthusiastic endorsement of this entertainment plaza as a great alternative to the bars

Some additions / clarifications -

Soi 4 off Ratchada Road has a multitude of bars / shops to choose from - while last Sunday night found many of them closed (election weekend) the 'Rad' club had a good live band and was packed with a great crowd until closing time at 0130

Bali Seafood, the Hollywood disco (huge, very young crowd)and others are actually located a short block away off Soi 6

After bar closing time Bali gradually filled up, and was booked to capacity by 0300 - 200 tables of Thais eating, drinking, and dancing until the wee hours - most GGs, GGs with Thai boyfriends, and several dozen LBs recognizable from the local bar circuit and cabaret shows

All willing to click glasses and party with falang - you will likely be the only 'round-eye' in the place

Soi 4 / Soi 6 are a good alternative to the 'tourist' bars any night, and Bali is a wonderful experience if you are still looking to have fun after the 'Greatest Show On Earth' at NEP winds down after 0200

Excellent Thai food as well

Thanks for the discussion on Soi 4/Ratchda Road. I'll definitely check it out on my upcoming trip to BKK. My question is: Where is Soi 4/Ratchda Road in Bangkok? Off Sukhumvit?

Ratchada road is the same as 'Asoke' road that crosses Sukhemvit, it just changes names at some point. The bars are not within walking distance of Sukhemvit - you have to take a taxi or take the subway

Pick up a map for the Subway (Metro), Ratchadi Soi 4 is the stop marked "Thailand Cultural Center" - and if you take the Metro, just get off on the east side.

An advanced party of "scouts" should go and check this place out purely for investigation reasons of course for the welfare of the guys on this site.
