  • Life Is Far From Ezy For Confused Russki

Genuine true story... (also posted this in the Ezy section but in case you don't go there, enjoy what made me giggle just 24 hours ago. I'm still smiling).

Had a bit of time to kill yesterday afternoon/evening, so swung by Ezy around 6pm for a couple of cold ones.

The girls were in various stages of undress/make-up/sleep and with no other customer in the bar I took over Karl's chair (sorry boss!) and was well looked after by Golf and Vicki.

As I was being pampered, a bloke came over to me. He was all smiley but spoke very little English. I worked out he was Russian and he kept pointing upstairs with a grin on his face and asking "OK? OK?" Behind him, one of the girls held on to his hand while brandishing a mobile phone with the number 300 glowing from the screen in the other.

"Yeah mate. It's all good. No problem - good bar."

He seemed happy with that, dumped his 300baht on the counter and headed upstairs for a little of the old horizontal mambo with his new friend. Or so I thought...

Less than two minutes later, he returned, his face a mixture of shock and fear. "Eeees transvestski," he cried (or some bloody thing) and motioned for his money back. Fair play to him, he smiled all the time and shook his head ruefully.

As the girls and I shared a laugh at his expense, he collected his cash and headed for the door... only to stop after a few paces, pick another girl, return to the bar, hand over his 300bt again and head upstairs again.

After they disappeared, i made a show of both hands with the fingers stretched out and slowly closed each one as I mouthed the countdown from ten to one.

    "...three... two... one..."

The curtain flew back to reveal an exasperated Cossack and an even more bemused girl.

    "EEEES ANOZZER TRANSVESTSKI!"

I was gobsmacked he didn't click the type of bar he was in. God bless him though... I was half expecting him to check all the girls!

Hilarious. That's one of the best stories I've heard in years. You handled it very well. I wish, sometimes, out of the ordinary anecdotal events like that happened to me.

              Hilarious!

He probably saw the second girl and thought "now that MUST be a chick" before realizing that he wasn't hallucinating.

                    ROFLMAO!

Now that's something I'd almost pay to see.

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Witnessed the same thing some years ago at La Bamba.

Funnily enough, it was also a young Russian chap, and he headed up the stairs with Cindy, only to return moments later in horror.

To this day Cindy and myself have a laugh about it.

                        Cheers
