I think we are missing a point or two about LBs, GGs and I suspect us guys as well. All of us have a lifestyle that fits and if we find it we really struggle to move away from it.

I used to date (before my conversion to the cause) an actress, not a famous actress in fact her greatest claim to fame was as one of a crowd in an episode of Eastenders. But the fact was that she loved being an actress, at times she seemed to want domesticity and financial stability but they were just roles she occasionally played.

I still see her occasionally, she lives in a minute studio flat and teaches drama to kids to eke out her occasional acting jobs and she would not change her life for anyone.

I suspect that many P4P girls are the same, they talk about setting up a home or a business but really just want to get up at 3 pm, go out and pick up a punter or two, fuck 'em then blow the money on whatever they want. Moving away from a lifestyle where you are the centre of attention and surrounded by bright lights and suspect glamour takes a considerable effort of will and one that not to many people are prepared to make.

Face it we are the same. We would rather be told we are "hansum guys" by someone who doesn't mean it than that we are sad old farts by someone that does. Money may not buy you love - but it lets you rent it for a while.

Many Thais are notoriously short-sighted, so no surprises there. And you are right, the attention and camaraderie is hard to give up for many of them.

I am sure, however, that some of us have met some of them. who have a goal and stick to it. Get the money, save it, then get out.

That said, I know one who wants to get the chop. She will need to save 200k + for this, and she says she is lady and wants that asap bla bla bla... If she was serious she could/would have done it by now. Instead she spends the sponsor money on phones, car, salon, friends, mum, salon.... no sticking power   Sponsor finally wises up and leaves her, then it's back to square one...tears, drama...new sponsor...and so it goes.

In fairness, it has to be said that there are many financial demands/obligations placed upon them by 3rd parties. but there is also an unhealthy level of narcissism involved.

If, however, the average guy is coming to LOS expecting a nurturing relationship I would suggest it is the exception rather than the norm   Sooner or later they get religion

Halla, my comments were meant to be universal regarding looking for love in all the wrong places, specifically the P4P world. If that's ladyboys, gg's, rent boys, or a granny fetish, it's the same same from one to the next.

In fact, my comments were drawn specifically from my own hard-won experience in the gg mongering world of the USA, where I learned life lessons that I hope I won't forget in dealing with fantasy world of ladyboys in LOS.

Ain't that the truth...When a ladyboy knows that you live here or stay here long-time, they often tell you about their sponsor or sponsors...They know they ain't gonna hook you.  Often English is not their sponsor's first language so the ladyboy asks for help reading and replying to bizarre emails and text messages...

Being the inquisitive type that I am when I get a ladyboy who brings up the said topic mainland Europe always features heavily .

Switzerland leads the way followed by Germany , Italy and France .

I'd love to see a pole along those lines here, not sure how scientific it would be but it would be fun to see who heads the sponsorship league of nations .
