(whore @ Apr. 30 2010,03:42) But I dont buy that bullshit about testing before shoots. Didnt we have a guy who posted here, D33 or something, who shoots videos over there. I think I remember him saying that it was scary the amount of models he was about to work with but they tested for HIV so he had to turn them away.

And I also beg to differ about the better paid for bareback shoots. Its probably an extra 2000baht for their troubles.
They are tested and you are correct some are turned away for that very reason , I haven't a clue what it works out to percentage wise versus those that are negative .

The going rate is 6,000 baht for a bareback shoot , twice what they would get for a condom shoot , three times the price of a choc wow video .

Its hard to comprehend the majority of us taking a risk for margins like that but Thai's have a different mentality .

Where did you get these figures from?

Are you in the biz or is this second hand info?

      Just an interested punter.

there was a porn producer on this forum before and he said people would be surprised at how much get turned away because of being HIV positive.
He added that he even stopped doing these shoots because the high percentage of rejects became a problem.
He wouldn't give details on the precise rate though.

D33 claimed that out of 200 girls he tested 30 were HIV+

          That would make it 15%

No I'm certainly not in that line of business

Those figures were what a girl got paid on a website were she did around 10 movies , I suppose different sites could pay different rates though .

I was with one of my regulars last night, a very nice girl of Cambodian extraction. She's taking a shot that gives her 3 months contraception (showed me the card as well), so her biggest concern isn't getting pregnant. At 31 her biggest fear is HIV (actually used the word) and is fully aware of the dangers. It's good to see that she seems to have a sensible approach- so many don't.
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here

I am more worried about getting herpes and are one of those std's that is antibiotic resistant. I think that there is a lack of worry about aids because of the drug treatments allowing infected people to live longer.

about 50% of the world's population have it.
there is nothing much you can do about it, except total abstinence.

I think its more common than that, possibly 70% or more. The thing is just because it can be sexually transmitted, doesn't mean its exclusively transmitted by having sex.

People can get it while someone is sneezing nearby or at work by exchanging documents or direct skin contact like shaking hands or even bad personal hygiene. And its been around for 2000 years so the most likely way to prevent is to well wear a rubber with people who have multiple sex partners, and if you somehow have it, don't panic, just take meds so you don't have an outbreak and don't have sex unprotected.

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Pity her younger sisters haven't even heard of aids, nor do they give a fxck! Older people have higher awareness do to prior education campaigns.

Excuse my ignorance but do you mean genital herpes or the cold sore variety? I assume there is a difference.

Actually either one, the cold sores type can be a hassel as well especially if you get continous outbreaks which can become infected. The gential variety forget about it. I donot know if it helps but years ago, when in the Navy was told by a corpman to take a piss and wash off after every encounter even if wearing a condom. Following this advice while screwing everything that walked, or crawled I have never contacted a a sexually transmitted diease(very lucky I must say)
In the 1960s going bareback was not considered that dangerous because everything could be cured by antibiotics. Then Vietnam came along and with it the antibiotic resistant stds, clap and syphilis.
                              Be carefull out there.
