I don't know what a Blackberry is and only have a rough idea what an iphone is. I'm the same as Jim I have a Nokia that goes ring ring or buzz buzz. I have no need for status symbols and turn it off at midnite. I can live without instant email and messaging. If the girls phones annoy you, it's easy. Get back to your place, get them to call a friend so they know they are 'safe' and where they are. Then tell them to turn the phone off til morning. If they say no, boot them out the door.
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here
I currently live without a BB too but I'll likely get 1 as there's 1 feature of the bb I want which I don't have on my normal phone.
GPS to find out where you're going without the need for printing it out from your desktop. Other than that as you can see the keyboard is a nice layout for texting but I don't care for any of the fancy stuff.
Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care! But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.
Thai mobile service providers offer Blackberry service for 300thb a month, which includes unlimited internet for chat, e-mail, and access to BB Messenger (chat application). That is very cheap for service.
The basic 8520 model is 13,000thb or so new, but gray market versions from the US, as well as used models can cost less than 10,000 thb. It really isn't that expensive for even an ordinary Thai to purchase one of these bad boys.
I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!
Thanks for the info DP. Looks quite affordable for the hardware and the service is quite cheap too considering how many phone cards even I would usually go through in a month.
Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage
