well, umm... trust your valuables to nobody - not at home and certainly not in the LOS!

golden rules:

1- put everything you don't need in the safe. this includes telephones, money, wallet, passport, airplane tickets, watch, etc. this doesn't guarantee against rogue hotel employees, but at least you'll be safe from the girls.

2- limit the other valuable items to 2 or 3 maximum and keep them in places where you can see them: the 1000 or 2000 baht fee, the Thai phone, your camera (because yes, we want to see the pix on the forum).

Also, I seem to remember someone saying they'd taken a beating outside Cascade a few months or so ago, but nothing was heard from anyone else when speaking to bargirls at the place.

Now imagine this exact same scenario played out in the hallway of your apartment building or in the foyer of your condo with all your neighbors looking on.

Proof positive of what I'm talking about when I say you need to protect your privacy and keep these girls far, far away from you actual home address. Otherwise your entire neighborhood is going to be gossiping about the show you put on at 2am in the morning and you'll basically become the pariah of your building no matter how things turn out.

As for the identity of the girl, I don't want to speculate but I think I have a good idea who it might be. Another Cascade girl tried the "Pay me first" stunt on me recently, but unlike this guy, I always keep myself between the ladyboy and the door, so I was able to turn around and leave before she could open her mouth about it.

You get 50-60 Ladyboys in a bar and 4 of them will be off the trolley and at least one will be un touchable. One supposes that the more Ladyboys one has the bigger chance of an incident. Ive had a couple nasty encounters although no hardware was involved.

The Bar that used to scare the shit out me was Limmatquai in Pattaya. I had a few short times in there in times gone by but its the sort of like a stairway to hell ...some of those LBs were a bit aggressive to say the least

Without downgrading this frightening situation, I personally think that if he had paid thev 2000 bht and not pushed her in the head while she picked it up , she would have left and he not stabbed. ... It was the money she was after.

Personal Pride and nasty injuries is not worth losing 2000 bht.

This doesn't surprise me coming from Stickman. For a guy who's lived here so long, he sure has little understand of Thais - read some of his biased drivel for awhile and you'll agree.    And on top of that, his balls are in a jar on his wife's mantle and he's proud of it.  My guess is that someone is winding Stickman up, knowing he is too fucking narrow-minded to know a fish tale when he sees one. Or he might know it's fiction and doesn't care so prints it anyway.

That said, if even some of this story is true, this guy made mistake after mistake. He left Cascade with a LB without discussing where they would go, for how long, who would be fucking whom and how much she was going to be compensated for fucking his ass.   Newbie mistake.

Then he let her take him somewhere he was not comfortable. Newbie mistake.

Then he throws money on the floor, which is an insult that I cannot even write about while I am in Thailand. Stupid, newbie mistake.

Then he hits her in the head when she bends over to pick up money. Stupid mistake, and a sign that this guy doesn't belong in Thailand.

And he's calling her a 'he' in the report.  And he quotes his doctor bill in US dollars ... what, did he use his Blue Cross card to pay!
