This probably isn't the right place to post this question but I know it will probably reach someone in Phuket! Can you still hire big motorbikes on the beach road or were they all taken out by the Tsunami?
There are 2 Harley rentals, 1 near the post office, and the other a few miles out on the back road heading toward Karon beach. Not sure of names or prices though.
