My very short first...maybe last(?) TR

I wanted to log on and acknowledge and thank this forum for the help I have received here, just having spent my first two weeks in Thailand, mostly hitting up the GG scene, but with two nights specifically set aside for Bangkok LBs.

Stayed at the Dynasty Inn, and was quite happy with the place. Would not have found it without this forum. I had two nights to hit up Nana plaza.

The first night I went straight to Carnival, and got there very early, was the first guy in. As soon as they saw me, they started the rotating stage, and about 10-12 girls went up. I should mention, I intentionally did not have a "to do" list. I have noted many here saying that is a bad idea, and that is not how I like to do it anyway, as chemistry is very important, and you can only really get that in person. Anyway, I know what I like (girly, feminine) and the two I was liking right away were Kim and Beer (forgot their numbers, sorry!). Bought them both a drink, declined the offer of a three-way, as I am not really that into it, and went with Kim. She quoted 1500BT, which was fine with me. She was up-front and apologetic about the 1000BT bar-fine for Dec. 29-31, and offered to pay the 400BT difference herself. I offered to split that with her. Wound up tipping her a couple hundred extra anyway, as she was an OUTSTANDING first Bangkok LB. Hot body, great DFK, and an enthusiatic top. Loved her.

Later, after considerably more beer, wound up at Cascades. Immediately spotted Angie (no #, sorry!), my wet dream in nerd girl glasses. Here, I faltered, as I did agree to a 3-way with her "best friend",　a not very cute kind of fem-boy, not my thing, for 2000 BT, but it got a little vague, I wasn't thinking with the big head on this one, as I wasn't thinking about the 2000 BT bar fine, and Dynasty charges 500 for a third guest. OK, rookie move, for sure, but Angie almost made it worth it, as she is so hot, and another enthusiastic top/bottom. Total freak. I confirmed why I don't like 3-ways, as I kind of ignored the other girl. I don't think she took it too bad, and I did see her the next day and she was warm and friendly and not a bitch, so there you go. But, never again.

The next night, I went straight back to Carnival for Beer, which I had promised her I would do. She claims she has had only one other customer since she started, I find it a bit hard to believe. I don't know if she would be for most guys, but I liked her quite a bit, great kisser, sexy girl, nice Chinese bangs. Pretty young. I think her # was 71. Like Angie, the night before, she offered to pay the 400 BT New Year surcharge, which I offered to split. Actually, went in and saw Kim from the night before first thing and sat down with her, and I think she explained that to Beer, so cheers to Kim on that for being ethical. (I do wonder if any of the regulars on this board were able to bypass the 1000 BT BF.)

Anyway, three solid encounters in two days, two picture perfect, one too expensive, drunken, and weird, but still very memorable and fun. I will probably seek out Cascade Angie again for a true solo some time.

Thanks to all and sundry for steering me in the right direction! Not sure if I want to join in to the VIP yet, I probably would if I actually lived in Thailand, taht is for sure.

Natsume, thanks for posting and sharing your first experience with lbs! I don't think it will be your last trip report and certainly not your last encounter with lbs!

It is great to hear that the forum helped you prepare for this trip to have some excellent experiences. As things progress there will be new features and information in the VIP section that will make trip planning and meeting some of your favorite lbs easier. Don't think that the VIP section is needed only if you live in LOS - but whenever you plan a trip or want more information about the LOS in a well organized layout.

2 days well spent...     A nice story but it does raise a few questions...

The obvious one is why did you have to allocate two days specifically to ladyboys? I assume you were travelling with the non-enlightened & couldn't get away.

The next one intrigues me... why did you head straight to Carnival? It is next door to the best LB bar on the planet - Cascades.

You must have noticed the difference in quality as soon as you walked in. I saw nothing at Carnival that would tempt my return.

Another question - why is it hard to believe Beer has only had one other customer? It is perfectly plausible to me. Lots of "average" girls are doing it real tough & she may not have been in the bar that long. (Though she may have been trying to give you a sad story to raise your level of guilt in not taking her)

All in all though you avoided a dozen traps that befall most first timers to Nana. For that, you should be happy to have access to the collective wisdom of all the Trip Reports here on the forum.

One piece of knowledge that you missed is the old "take my friend too" strategy that will get trotted out anytime business is quiet.

On virtually every occasion, the LB you are with is asking you against her will, in other words, she doesn't want you to take up the offer. She is obliged to ask because she can't be seen to ignore the needs of her work mate. Remember, they are both Thai, you are farang, they will get you to pay double if they can.

On nearly every occasion, this does not go well in the room. You do not get twice the fun. Any display of affection between the girls is perfunctory at best (though there are one or two double acts that at least make a show of enjoying each other)

I get asked this old chestnut very often when I am in LOS. Often the girl wanting in on the action has an air of desperation about her & a glance at the body language of my chosen company confirms the situation. There is no way they want this to proceed. None at all!!!

But you did it & now you are wiser & stronger. Well done on reporting your experience without glossing over the negatives. It is only the experience of others that help all the guys reading this to learn what to look for.

Sorry to be quizzing you with all my questions, I should ask you one more - what will it take to get you to sign up? The forum can certainly do with a little help in return right now...

1) Yes, and then I was in Chinag Mai solo, but not at a "guest-friendly" place, and did not find too much in the way of LB talent I would have gone for anyway. I am pretty content with GGs, but on my next trip, I will probably aim at a 80%-20% ratio towards LBs. This trip was the reverse.

2) As I said, it was about 6, Cascades had not revved up yet, but Carnival quickly did when I walked in. I imagine you have never seen Kim, or she is not to your taste. And, as I said, I lucked upon two of my "types" on walking in immediately. I got lucky!

3) I guess it is possible. She was clearly experienced, who knows where she got it.

4) I am not sure if I can swing another visit until next year (2011). I may join when that time gets closer, but I hate to torture myself in the interim.


Thanks for all of the replies. I am not new to LBs, just the LOS scene. I guess it helped that I didn't have "first time" jitters, on top of it being my first time in Thailand, if you know what I mean.

I did check out all of the other bars in Nana. Somebody else pointed out that Obsessions and Temptations were "not for beginners", and I can see their point, super aggressive. Obsessions was a little too much for me, but Temptations I was really into, seems very fun, but that immediately preceded my walk into Cascades and the clutches of the 3-way.


Anyway, I WILL RETURN! It was a too awesome, fun, and better than expected first taste of the wonders of Thai LBs. I do have a gut feeling that I may be one of those who will wind up preferring Pattaya to BK, and that will be the first place I will go on my return.
