Ha! You would be shocked what is on my hard drive, then again, maybe not  

I think you would also be surprised as to what is on yours...

Photos and images you have viewed online are stored on your drive somewhere, they do get overwritten eventually but are still recoverable for a while by people with the right tools.

Microsoft even 'thoughtfully' included a .index file with the Windows OS which records every site you ever visited, they don't say what for, just "err, umm, it might come in handy one day..."

Have a little 'Google' around and you'll be surprised at what is actually stored on your computer.

It's not all doom and gloom though as there are tools that can clean your drive thoroughly, but if you really have stuff that you never want found then the sure fire way to erase it is to shred your hard drive!

Oh, by the way, 'delete' doesn't delete anything it just tells your system that it's ok to write over that data if the space is needed, so if you have a 200Gb drive and only use 40Gb that leaves a lot of room where things might get left behind.

Actually i know those things,and i DID know that my pic was in the avatar files here on the board.
And i do have a great program,to help me erase the discs from time to time.
Abylon.SHREDDER.v6.30.12.1.
It´s cleaning the hd,so no one can see whats have been on it before.

ps.i did have alot of pic´s on a memorycard as well as on my hd,and they was deleted by misstake,but i could recover them my self with a smart little program named "PhotoRescue Professional" and another named "MediaRescue Professional"...but after using the SHREDDER,NO WAY i could restore anything.
