New Years Eve Pics

The pics had to be compressed and resized to fit on the forum, making any comparison irrelevant.

ISO 1000 was an accident, I should have gone down to ISO 200 when I started using the flash. -1/3 exposure is what I wanted, most Canons are a little 'too bright'.
None of last night's pics were cropped.

As a guy who takes his photography seriously, I didn't think he would object to some constructive commentary. I know Donnnnnny appreciates it, I certainly do but I have the distinct impression that Mardhi doesn't like me commenting about Snapper's great contributions.

For what its worth I often shoot indoor flash of ladyboys with either the ETTL flash (Canon) set at minus 1/3 or the drop the exposure on the camera a 1/3 of an f stop.
Given that ladyboys tend to have fairly heavy foundation on their faces this tends to to soften the photo and avoid the "Bride of Dracula" flatness from the foundation.
You can always push the photo on Photo-shop (brighten and contrast) later.

For me it just takes a kinder, gentler photo, without every pore, whisker (well they are ladyboys!) and skin blemish being highlighted.

My personal feelings are both TT and Snick have taken beautiful shots, especially given:

The location: A ladyboy bar
The subject: ladyboys!
The  Time: Late
The date: NYE!
The Snapper: On the piss I assume....

Well I am very glad to hear that you were part pissed... and that is not a reflection on your photographic talents either: I'd just hate to think you stayed sober purely to cast your pearls of photos amongst the swine of the forum!

This is the first time I have been stuck offshore for Xmas and NYE in a number of years... very very sober. So get rat-arsed for me if you can!
