Tattoos on ladyboys...

Hi Everyone,

Long time reader, first time poster here. I was wondering if anyone knew the meaning of the various similar tattoos that ladyboys have. For instance, I noticed that several of them have scorpions while another group has what looks like a rose. Is there any meaning behind these various tattoos?

Apologies to all if this has been answered. I did a search on past posts and didn't see any info on this topic.

I've been curious as well. I have been with a number of them and they have a tattoo of a bat, none of them would explain its meaning, does anyone know? Have seen it on a number of ladyboys on this forum as well. I have also read all the above threads, I have really!!

Not the Bat tattoo ! shit buddy, has anything strange happened to you since ?
i dont mean catch anything, i mean has any bad luck come your way since going with any of the girls with the bat on them ?
seriously mate buckle up when driving, look both ways when crossing the rd.

Better luck finding the answers with a general google search. Apart from the traditional thai tattoos (sakyant) like the nine peaks, most are done only because they look cool.

Palm's koi fish is meant to represent good luck or courage in buddism. Scorpions represent power...more answers with a google search.

Actually, I did. My search was in reference to info on the meaning of tattoos, and not to pics of LBs with tattoos in general which, as you show, there are lots of on this forum.

The traditional Thai tattoos do look good unfortunately most of the other ones look terrible , I hate the look of some cute looking ladyboy covered in tribal tattoos like a guy but thats the fashion nowdays particularly in Pattaya where theres a tattooist on every corner

Tats are for men same as drinking beer and talking about football , ladyboys should be ladylike

ive got loads, dont mean a thing.
they are just memories for me from diferent countries and resorts around the world where i have had them done.
they are not supposed to mean anything, it is just body art.
and like any form of art, some like it, some dont.

in regards to ladyboys, you,ll probably find a lot have a bat, because it was the cheapest.
2 for 1 init.

Maybe for you, but for many races/people they have deep and important meetings. Sak Yant for Thais. Ta Moko for Maori (plus most other Polynesians), Japanese Yakuza etc.

i am aware of that mate,
but we are talking about thai hookers with a bat and scorpion here.

although, id hazard a guess that the bat means she is batty,
and the scorpion means you better watch it.

Wonder if it's something as stupid as being related to The Scorpions band and then transferring across to just being a popular tattoo.

1) Tattoos can have meaning, vide the Japanese Yakuza who have series on their backs;
2) vide in Brazil where the Scorpion is part gang-related part Rio drug sub-culture related

I have known a couple of Filipinos who had boyfriends names tattooed and regretted it after, Winston Churchill, famous Anglo-American Racist had an anchor tattoo...need I say more?
