this is something I usually post 2 or 3 times a year just to remind people that pre-planning these trips to Thailand to meet with the ladyboys is not always a great idea. of course YOUR method of how you travel is completely up to you, but based on 4 years of reading letters and hearing stories from guys and the models who were let down it seems like 'playing it by ear' is the order of the day.
what happens with pre-contact is that reality rarely lives up to expectations, usually on both sides! Maybe the model that the guys were writing with turned out to be a dud in the sack, or her english was horrible, she was boring, etc.... and on the other token, sometimes a model will be getting letters for months from some guy and she can't wait to meet him and he gets off the plane and doesn't exactly look like Brad Pitt. worse than that, he is broke and she is now stuck with him LOL. also I can't even count the number of times I have heard from both sides saying that so-and-so stood them up and their pre-planned date or vacation was a total fuck-up because he or she never even showed up.
Face-pic, yahoo personals, even the limited information that we give out here...... my opinion is that if you absolutely must pre-contact someone, keep it short and sweet, and wait until near your hoiliday. something like this going out today would be very effective; "Hi model X; I saw your photos on AsianTS and you look very nice; I will be coming to Bangkok at the end of the month and was hoping we might be able to meet for a drink. can you please send a number so I can call you once a get there? Thank You, JaiDee" No follow-up letters, no "I can't wait to see you; you are so mind-shatteringly beautiful and I want to spend my whole 10 days in bangkok with you", with the same letter being CC'd to 10 different girls. Just a fone number to call once you arrive, if the need arises. This way, if the guy walks into Cascades on his first night and falls in love with Noon and spends a week with her and blows off model X completely, no feelings are hurt on either side.
I have been guilty of this myself in the past and so have learned from experience and also from what I have seen and heard at this desk. Now when I am away from Asia I stay in touch with some ladyoy friends, but never to the point where anything is expected from either side upon my return.
Not trying to discourage anyone from dating our models here and actually our goal is to have the girls become as popular as possible! That's why a lot of them appear on the site and we wish them the best of luck in finding partners. just be realistic when planning these trips and think "will I butterfly or not?" have fun out there.
