Hi everyone

A question to all at asian ts. I take it that eveyone is aware of Joey Silvera's videos/dvds of brazilian and US shemales. For those of you who don't the 'Big Ass she male adventure series' is currently running at 20 volumes. Featured in this videos is some of the worlds hottest transsexuals, such as luminaries as Camilla de castro, Vanity, Patricia Arujo and Neferttiti to name but a few. If anyone is interested in obtaining these (in the UK) then search ebay - one particular seller has many of the original titles (albiet boootlegs - it's difficult to get hard core pornography in the UK at the best of times).

But I digress. Joey Silvera's movies are amongst the best in the world. Therefore I was wondering why asian ts, or some other asian ladyboy sites tries to produce videos or dvd's of asian ladyboys. I'm sure Talesha, Beam, Bettina etc could easily hold their own (pardon the pun) against the best shemales of brazil and the US. I'm sure that the production of high quality movies featuring either girls playing solo, or in threesomes (or cluster fucks!) would expand the market and ultimately be beneficial to the whole ladyboy lover community.

I know you can download the videos on the website, and very good they are too, however, I still would love to get hold of videos or dvd's of many of the girls featured on this site (indeed my ultimate fantasy would be a sandwich with Camilla De Castro and Talesha - I could die happy after that).

It's actually something  we would like to do, Pattaya,  and this  subject has been discussed up here many times.  We also have literally hours of material that could be made into DVD's and re-sold, as well as  new stuff we  can acquire pretty easily anytime.  The trouble is  with the distribution; from what I have  heard, the bottom people in the operation [cameramen and models]  make the least money while the re-sellers and the middle-men get all the real cake. that  doesn't fly.  Remember that Silvera and guys like that have been at that game for years and probably distribute themselves; it's much harder for new guys to break in.
   we   could  distribute  ourselves based on individual sales through the website, but we would need someone to take orders, make  copies   based on the titles  most requested, and  ship literally every day from a  post office somewhere. We would have to get about 10 orders per DAY to make that a profitable operation, which is  quite a bit, about 300 titles per month, plus paying a new full-time employee to do the work.  It is something we think about often here,  but we obviously have to look at the business end of it and wonder if it would be a profitable thing to get in to.  No one who reads here here would invest in a high-risk venture that has a good chance of failing and we  think the same way.
Willing to hear idea's from anyone out there who has experience in this depertment. we would have no problem re-selling our video material [which is obviously better-quality on the raw tape than it is when it hits the website in condensed version] we have, but not for 33 cents on the dollar.

Well, it's easy enough to burn clips onto a DVD.I don't think many people are gonna pay for that though!

I'd really like to see some extended 20 minute 'scenes' on DVD much like "The World Of Confusion" tapes that I used to love watching in the States.

Also burning DVDs don't work on everyones DVD players! The production outlay for master copy DVDs will be quite high. Plus the printing of the labels and discs etc. The overseeing of the order taking and taking care of problems when the orders get lost or are incorrect.

Plus if you are just selling from the site you have a limited market place.

All kinds of reasons why this won't work very well!

And it's a shame because there are NO decent Asian ladyboy DVDs to buy that have reasonably new content.

You're right it is a bit of a shame. Perhaps you should contact some more 'mainstream' porn producers and see if they would be interested in distributing the dvds. Or what about Gia Darling, her transsexual heartbreakers series seemed to be pretty successful.

If ATS was to go for the movie idea, how about rather than ATS churing out movie after movie it makes one 'classic' with some of the best models on the site. It could become a cult classic. 'Last Tango in Thailand'

Storyline - guy who does not know about lbs falls in love with a stunning beauty. He takes her to his room and has a 'Crying Game' experience. After that he's hooked and goes on a rampage of ladyboys in Bangkok, Pattiya, Phuket, Samui, etc. Throw in some beauitful beaches and a soundtrack that doesn't sound like bad 70's disco and you have a hit.

again, believe me when I tell you that we would like to make some cash for our material which just sits in boxes around the office here collecting dust. I have looked into this extensively and have always been let down by the numbers thrown at us; some might say that 33% of something is better than nothing, but just on principle alone I would hate to see some smarmy motherfucker from the valley make all the cash for the work we have done.

we will come up with something.......we have over 40 hours of raw material and can get new stuff anytime...... it's just a matter of time before we find a distributer and editor we can trust.
