Sorry to hear about your bad experience. As Rxpharm and others have said:
Always agree how much first
See if he has money - when buying a drink in the bar
You can always ask how he is going to pay you.
When you leave your ID at the hotel ask how long he is staying

I have heard similar stories in Pattaya. One very sweet LB arrived in the bar with a bruised face.
She then told me that 3 weeks before a customer took her and her friend to their room - he did not want to use his hotel. After she told him how much he woed them. He said he had no cash but she could come on his Motorbike to visit the ATM

She got on the back and, as he dove off, he pushed her off onto the road.

Take care in the P4P business - talk to some of your 'sisters' for advice and learn quickly.

 ...wooooa this would never go over in the States with any P4P gurl, cash is always up front in a plain envelope please, leave it on the table & don't mention sex, that's how they have to do it to avoid entrapment from LE & guys who won't pay later.. but in Thailand most guys usually pay after the act but there's nothing wrong with asking for the cash up front, just tell them you're not a regular working girl that has customers every day & you've been cheated before & can't afford to lose any income from non-paying clients; hopefully they will understand your situation then..

Yes,its a dilemna ,and there is no quick answer.If you ask for money up front,you will lose any chance of a real romance (which i presume you are looking for) I think you will have to write it off to experience,there are some cheeky fuckers knocking about.I could have done the same thing myself more than once,but i'm a decent bloke and called the girls back and gave them a "present".I know i would not like to be asked for money up front,especially with someone i met off the internet,so i dont know what you can do to ensure it doesnt happen again.best of luck-travis

read the forums all over the net regarding relationships with Thais...its almost the same recipe every time...

1) they meet the girl in the bar...AND they pay her...the barfining...and paying continues for days..maybe the whole holiday....


2) then the girl say....dont pay me anymore cuz i love you very mutt...  i not lube your money...i only lube you...  and most of us suckers have tried it once in our days....  and we WILL keep on falling in this trap...

3) so whats wrong in paying her even first time?? FFS...its small money to most of us...but not to them....and trust me...IF things get better and better with the girl,and maybe you start a kind of relationship...would you then hold the fact you paid in the start against her??? and do you feel that buying sex makes you better than her selling sex ??

i DID read it....

makes no change in my eyes..... maybe iam too cynical...but i think most of the girls from thailand/philly is online for one reason....money.....either in one way or another(lt or st)..they arent here for your blue eyes only....

do you then expect them to give away "free samples"??

Well,i think you are being too cynical.Yes most girls are on the internet for p4p,but not all of them.I believe there are a few genuine ones out there ,usually having good jobs,maybe having come out of a LTR with a thai man,usually living in a town other than bkk ,pattaya or Phuket.Possibly over 30,or thereabouts,looking for someone to settle down with etc etc.In other words,just like any other girl.I have met a couple actually,they do exist.I met one this year off the internet,and even took her down to Phuket with me.She stayed with me 8 days in all,no money was asked for,but i did buy her a rather nice gold chain .I think if i had offered her money,she would have slapped me.She comes from a well to do family who could probably buy and sell me if they wanted to,so they are out there,if thats what you are looking for.
