So I'm told, but I know some in Romeos that haven't got the chop. Jeen, Aki, Somo for sure. And I think Jenny and Chaba. I shall inquire further this week. Actually confirming it may be a bit tricky.

This business of not shitting in your own back yard seems to hold true for a number of ladyboys in Romeo. They have claimed they don't work because their relatives would recognise them.
And they do a fair bit of shopping in Singapore; they say the fashions here are more up to date than back home. So a small reason for coming could be shopping.
The main reason is still better money although that advantage may have slipped these days.

Hi guys, was last monday for first time in Romeo. Mamasan came up to me when I arrived and told me that I had to pick one girl to sit and drink with me. .. hmmm, another questionable explanation; I would have then asked her "well where does your family think you are now?"  Like what did she tell her family she was going to be doing in Spore for x months, shopping?     To me it wouldn't have even been questioned, but just making a point to show their logic is circular, it all comes back to what they're doing & why they left to do it..
