Just a reminder the finals of the MIQ 2009 happens tomorrow night for those who may be interested and are in Pattaya. It may be broadcast this year. I will see if I can find details about that.

As for the poll there is no question in my mind that the ballot box is being stuffed. The data is just not believable. Two equally pretty girls and one girl has 100 times as many votes, no way Jose, some chads be hanging.

PigDogg, don't get too bored, bring along a book just in case! I am sure that your gf will have a great time, they love these events!

Bring along a camera, if you can get close to the stage after the contest is over you may be able to get some good shots!

I've known RP 05, Asunta Mae, who is representing the UK, for a number of years.

Asunta is a Filipina but she lived and was schooled in the UK from her early teens, and is a really bright, intelligent, and terrific girl.

Asunta is a UK Citizen and therefore rightly able to represent the UK.

Asunta has a super personality and a really lovely lady. The photos I'm posting below do not do her justice.

On the bubble was the Malaysian girl, who I would have given top 10 status, heartbeak city as Dick Vitale would say.

The three finalists were from Brazil, Thailand, and Japan. The Brazilian girl hurt herself with a very short answer in the Q&A while the Japanese's girl bubbly personality shown through and won it for her.

I think the Thai finalist was hotter but they don't want Thailand winning all the time and the Japanese girl won the hearts of the judges.

I had a surprisingly good time and my teerak loved it.

I am still amazed these places dont learn that serving drinks throughout the show would earn them a fortune and put off the total boredom of the whole event........

Been to two - bored, no drinks = never again

By the way did you see Ex tonight ? She collared me in a gay disco last night and said she wanted to go so like some lame duck I gave her 1000b for a ticket - then she told me it was 2000b and said find the other half yourself By the way she looked very very hot last night
