The effects of hormones can not be turned on (or off) like a tap! If she has been taking a lot over a long period of time then it'll take months for the effects to wear off once she stops.

I am not sure exactly how long it takes to make the thing work again, but I CAN tell you that once they stop taking them their sexual activity increases tenfold, kind of like a tiger being released from a cage. no 'script needed....... they usually start taking them at 14 or 15 [usually with their Mum's consent] and can buy them right over the counter at any pharmacy. By the time they are 18-19 they know exactly what the proper dosages are for premarin [smooth skin] and are probably getting injection estrogen shots once a week in the ass at some local clinic [for softer voice and the small boobs they get].
