Bad new guys. Im just leaving Phuket. My Hotel was destryed
I just escaped the wave as i was sleeping on the fourth floor

Soi Bangla was destroyed . The Tsunami hit all the way up to
Tiger complex( Cocktails and dreams). Tiger complex was the only bit saved. Soi Katoi was badly hit and i doubt if it will reopen soon. Actually the Tiger complex is the only bit open now is wasnt destroyed as i first thought so C+D is saved.

The Royal Paradise Complex is the where all the Ladyboys now hang out post Tsunami, mainly in and around the caberet shows. Ill post update later when i get back to BKK if i can get on. Actually the late Cabaret shows are a great source of hunting , especially Tagmo.

Thanks, TC.....happy that you are doing well and also that C&D is OK, at least. too damned bad about Soi Kathoey..... I have no idea how our friends and models from that area will ever recover or where they will work now.

Out of every sad story like this there is always a silver lining. Being completely selfish here now it appears that most of these LB'S will be flooding the market in Pattaya and perhaps Bangkok. For me, that means more selection and even better prices. They gotta eat, pay for the mobile phone, a place to stay and support for the family or boyfriend. The market is now in the buyers favor and I plan to take full advantage of that. Flame me if you must but you know what I have stated is true. At least I am honest enough to state the obvious and to do something about it.

its sad to hear of your kind

                Oh you're all heart lipflipper!

This epitomises everything I love about our wonderful system of democracy and free-trade.

Just can't understand why some parts of the world (the Arab world including Iraq, Cuba etc) refuse to embrace it.

Finally got back to Bankok no problem but i hear that flights have been blocked going to Phuket. Many Hotels have no power or water. To answer Piggdogs question;most people above ground floor were OK as long as your room wasnt facing the beach road in which case the Grim Reaper was going to pay you a visit.

before i left yesterday i took one lst look and they had just started moving the heavy salvage vehicles in.

Most of the Bangla LB crowd are roaming around looking bored. Nana and KC3 have no vacancies so theres no chance there.

Its just possible that Bangla will get something together for new year but if i were going there i would think twice. Its going to take some time to patch this thing up.

It is so hard to imagine a wave coming that high. There is now some footage on TV taken on tourist video cams. But they do not give us the full picture. It must have been pretty damned scary to be there.

                    cheers
