BUT... If you go on the video you can pick and choose who watches you etc...

I'm waiting for a reply to my email to the software company... I want to be able to integrate the forum user database with this program so we don't have the log in and out problems we have with the current chat program...

If they can work with this forum database then we'll get signed up to it pretty soon...

So $419 would include the license for less than 50 users, installation and integration, correct?

The servers are dedicated and I have root access to them. I would distribute the access to your installation team upon their request. Would I be correct in assuming that the $100 'integration' fee would include the installation of the server software needed to run the system?

I'm considering the unlimited license and 3 plug ins but I'll probably opt for the low cost option for now... but thanks for that offer. Thanks also for the 'mini chat' screen image.

Currently we support FMS, wowza and red 5 (free open source solution). Please note that you need a dedicated server in order to install any of the above mentioned media servers and if your web site is hosted elsewhere, you need to check with your hosting provider to make sure you have root access so that 3'd party software can be installed.

Just a bit more information needed......

Are the 'Integration Features' on the 'Full Features List' page included in the price of the program and installation?

So far I am looking at a cost of $269.00 for the permanent license and $50 for installation.

This information is probably out there on your site but I'm a bit of a dimwit and I just want to be sure of what I am getting!

Also the 'mini chat' module looks interesting so that forum users can see what's going on, but there's no screen shot of it! Do you have one? Ideally I'd like something very small to run across the top of the forum to let people know what's happening in there.

You will need FTP access to the domain name and/or root access to the servers for the installation?

Just two final questions before I proceed with this...

Below is the configuration of my servers. In your experience will this be enough to run the program on (in addition to the message board)?

I don't think we'll ever get more than 20 or so people on video at any one time, but if that ever happens can we upgrade the license at a later date by paying the difference?

(Oh, and do you have any deals going on right now that I might have missed?)

As soon as the integration is complete, all login and profile data is imported automatically on application start, so user don€™t have to type in credentials twice. The database for the ikonboard forum is MySql... Can this be integrated into your software so that when logged on to the forum they won't have to log in again to the video chat area? This is important for me.

Actually I was momentarily tempted by the "Unlimited" license because you get three free plug ins which could be quite handy... especially the branding one, the 'board room' one and the 'Push to talk' button one!

It'll definitely chew up bandwidth but we get 3000 gigs a month so it would have to run through 100 gigs a day to get us in trouble! There's no way we can do 4 gigs an hour. We ain't that big!

May have to make memory and/or CPU upgrades, though!

Sounds like its well sorted, the only problem now will be the snail like Vietnamese ADSL.

I do most of my computing via a 2Mb satellite link, and bandwidth degredation is a serious issue. Especially when the Indians onboard set up "pirate" wireless networks and blow the number of users from 15 to 60+

I carry out regular seach and destroy (well confiscate)  missions, so if anyone wants a free wireless let me know...Only problem is they only receive Bollywood softcore....
