I've not given this much thought until now, but now I'm burning with curiosity, and guys like Stogie and JD are supreme beings with nearly infinite knowledge. And so is Salma (where has she been?!)

So, here goes!

You guys have known a lot of the girls before and after they get implants. What kinds of comments do they have on 'em? I'm sure they must love the look, but I suspect it's also got to feel awkward. Like lying on them, squeezing them, and other such fun things. What do the girls tell you?

Also, any word on how their families react? I can imagine that some parents might be a bit concerned when they discover their son is a katoey, but must really when they see breast implants. No? Or are many of these women separated from their families?

It's a great subject and also a very broad one. I'll add a couple of thoughts, though, to maybe kickstart the debate...

Before I fell in love with Kui I had dated a couple of dancers in Dallas who had had the implants done. These obviously were ggs (genetic girls) but they are sturdier than our delicate Asian gals so they withstood the pain pretty well. Also the reasons they got them done was 100% vanity and emphasized there existing sex rather than changed it!

Have you ever been a smoker and had to go all day without a cigarette? The first thing you do is smoke TWO back to back! Imagine how it must feel to go for years and years without your fantasy rack and suddenly faced with the option of getting a set!..

That's why many girls go overboard with the size when the opportunity comes along.

Once the operation is done however it takes a serious regemin of massage to keep them nautral looking and pliant. If you let the new rack just "set" where it is they will quickly become malformed and rigid. You have seen many girls on this site who have been lazy and not taken care of them selves and have some odd shapes goping in odd directions as a result. (So don't always blame the surgeon if you don't see what you like!)

The joy of having your own rack more than compensates for the inconvenience of a lower golf swing! All of a sudden the little doll in your life will be wearing all her clothes twice over and dancing about in front of the mirror for hours on end!

The operation changes their personalities too. In a good way. Kui has become much more assertive and self confident and really likes her own body. She's not the meek little mouse that picked me up at the airport 3 years ago!

Oh my god - I need a job as a breast implant massager! Shwiiiiing!

For nearly about one year there I had paid a ladyboy her breast surgery and was going with her into the hospital. After surgery when she was awaken there she had lot of pain and couldn`t move or take something to drink or eat for herself. Some hours later at night we drove back home with a taxi. On every bump her breast starting again with pain. In the coming two days were she was mostly in bed the pain was going more and more. And a doctor could took away the tapes and she saw her new breasts the first time in her life and was so much happy. On night she had shown every other ladyboy her breast in such a proud way. And I had to buy her the first correct  brassiere. Since that time she is feeling much more female than before and had got more self-confidience.
Don`t always think about ladyboys as a sex-curiosity only, try to accept, understand why she had to go this painfull way of transition. Every ladyboy is a human like we all and important is which way she like to go until her finsih. It doesn`t matter if she will be a pre-op or getting a post-op. Every transsexuelle will have one life only like we all and she must get the same right for to do this in her luckiest way.

Wow, what an interesting thread this has become.

Still, I'd like to know if there's any feedback from their families. Implants seem to be a pretty strong indication of their identification as a TG.

And I guess the attention they get from guys must go up exponentially. Thoughts?

yes, indeed it must be the same experience like I had with such a lady after her surgery.
She had to stay in bed the whole time and I had to going for food and drinking. And I know that this was no game of her, she had still lots of pain.
About acceptation of her family: Her father isn`t alive and her mother and sister had accept time before her way. They couldn`t understand this, but like that she would have the luckiest life. Her family didn`t know about the surgery, and when she had shown them her own breats her mother did accept this too.
For herself this surgery was important, but than she had gone the wrong way for working in the Walking Street of Pattaya. Now it looks like she had find the way back to a much normal job again in Bangkok.

Great insight from dhz... Your story really does mirror mine with Kui! Amazing!

Same with Kui, her father is no longer around and wasn't when Kui went through puberty.

Also about the impact of breasts... Mothers, brothers and sisters have gotten over the worst shock of all years ago - sporting a pair of boobs really doesn't come as much of a surprise!

Actually, ladyboys in transition usually stuff their (training) bras, so when the space is filled by a plastic surgeon the difference isn't too shocking!

Another point - the impact of a feminine attitude and a feminine way of living really transcends a feminine appearance. Kui has been very lucky - she actually does look the part!

the changing of her character into much more feminity  and the losing of self-denial is so different than. This is a big delieverance for her, not only of showing her new female identity with her clothes.
For example. If she do her make up before the mirror with wearing something there she handle in other kind and all what she do looks much easier and normal than. Or if she walking on the street it´s like she is on cloud 9.
And which one or how many would go such a painfull way like all this surgeries into feminity for to find his/her own peace only - and losing the family, friends and so mostly. My great respect about such people for to pay such a high prize.
We all see the gorgeous beauty of all this ladyboys only, but don`t know nothing about there inside feelings and hadn`t the interest about this. The ladyboys don`t make a game about her outlooking, it should show her real identity only.
