Banned from internet access

This past week I was traveling in North America and enjoying free high-speed internet access at a well know hotel chain. After a few hours of being on the web my connection was lost. After contacting technical support I learned my computer had been banned due to the numerous hits to a known porn site www.asian-ts.com.

There is no such thing as free€¦..

Anyone have recommendations for how to surf on a high-speed connection anonymously?

Are you running Security Software ? ie; Internet Security programs and VIrus scan's etc..etc...

IF you are get rid of it, thats your problem. After you uninstall it, you need to Fdisk your C: drive. and when reloading window's or MAC OS register your computer under a different name.

The thing is that your Phone Number that you use to Dial out will blow your cover, but as far as other web site's PINGING and Peering into your Hard drive will not matter if you ;;
DO NOT HAVE SECURITY SOFTWARE in you system. Website PINGING you is not a bad thing, just don't be a SUCKER and click on these POP UP's, just by clicking them you UnKnowing are downloading it as you are sitting there reading their advertisement. and by the time your done reading it, spyware and or spamware is on your C:|

If your not using a Server then security software is a big waste of time and Money. You will just have to Unplug your Coaxle everyTime you shut your computer off. If you don't mind doing this then you can surf with SOME anonymity but not completely. the phone number ? remember.

I know I am bouncing around here but if your on Broadband at home your High speed adddress will always lead back to you. Security Software Logs everything even if you THINK you deleted the History in the program. YOU do know how to do a MS-CONFIG don't you ? you have alot of hiden programs running in the back round that you don't know about.
GO To ; RUN, type in ; MS-CONFI and click O.K. when the window pops up you will see a shit Load of lines of text with a
(( CHECK MARK )) in the box, every line with a check mark is a program that is running in the backround. TURN THAT SHIT OFF.. be careful though, read it and see if you really need it. Don't worry about COOKIES, COOKIES are good, Hee..Hee..

TOTAL Anonymity is not really attainable unless you can write code and if you could you wouldn't be asking for help.

I highly recommend you Look at every program you have installed in your computer even FACTORY INSTALLED programs and RE-CONFIGURE them ALL. alot of programs are searching for updates and installing them without you even Knowing about it, especially Microsoft programs. go onto OPTIONS in your programs and check your Properties to see if you can find ((CHECK MARKS )) and anything else that may cause a program to LAUNCH in the Backround. Find it and SHUT IT OFF, everything you do with your computer should be MANUALLY LAUNCHED. Hope this helps alittle.

The problem I had was using the hotel high-speed and they record each site you visit. They said that because I was visiting porn sites, my computer was denied web access.

I do keep a close eye on MSCONFIG and program startups. However deciphering what each one does is not always so easy.

As for security software, I would never run a computer without anti-virus and a firewall. Currently I am using Panda Platinum. I also run Spy Sweeper to prevent programs from installing and get rid of junk. And to help clean up my system I run Window Washer weekly.

A few months ago I was in Angels City Philippines and using their free high-speed. The Asian-ts website was not even accessible. Best I could tell it was on a blocked list.

As I understand your post €“ when using the free internet connection at a hotels we are sort of at their mercy. I had hoped there might be an anonymous surfer service available to circumvent.

ok this my time to shine... there are high risk programs that enable for you to surf the internet while encrypting your ifo. that they use to view your internet activity....I can't remember the name of the program that is widely used.... but if you search for progz or filez (with a z) websites. But remember that the people creating these programs sometimes put a virus in the program. but that should give you a place to start.... thiese programs are used typically to go around firewalls but they might work in your case... I know that may not be a lot of help but I think it might be a start.

yeah, the basic solution is to use a proxy service. mirimark's initial response is irrelevant. they're looking at your IP on the subnet (or your MAC address...basically equivalent to them if they're running the network), and noticing that you're hitting lots of porn sites.

weird thing is that they allowed you to visit even once. i wonder why they block after N visits.

Mirimark - I don't think you understand.  It's the ISP used by his hotel that's the problem.  The hotel is giving him broadband access - just plug in to their network (or, as some offer, sign in on the wireless LAN), and he eventually got cut off from accessing porn sites.

Hey Mirimark!

Things are going well. Basically, it's like this: I get flogged and put into the dungeon about 9 times a month. Every few days, I get to see the sun, and visit this site, too. The latest floggings and dungeon trips were a little longer than before, and so I'm just bursting with energy.

As for Cherry - she's definitely got it going on. Not fond of her head in some pics, but others are OK. But, you know my main condition...and she doesn't quite cut it in that one regard.
