  • Follow up about my trip i was planning

I don't know if you remember my post some odd weeks maybe months back. Well I was planning a trip to the Phillipines until some unexpected stuff happened in my life. Which kept me from being able to leave the states. Well I also started talking to the most beautiful girl that is from the Phillipines and is also from the site. HAHA.... it was totally unexpected but we really hit it off. We ae actually planning for her to come to the U.S. and visit me on a tourist VISA. No, sorry for all you horny guys, its not for sex. She is really one of the most intelligent people I have ever talked to and one of the most trustworthy people. I just wanted to say thanks to Stogie Bear for making the forum and whoever the mysterious guy that owns the site for giving here my email and for giving urging her to send me an email. Seriously THANKS.....

Glad to hear things are working out for you bro!

Sounds like it's much easier for PI nationals to get tourist visas than Thais. Guess she went to the consulate without makeup!

actually she hasn't been aproved yet.... but my lawyer says that she has a better chance of getting into the U.S. if i fill out a form and a letter for her.......So are you saying that they will deny her visitation because of the way she looks? I really hopw the VISA goes through.....

I have no experience with this Chris; maybe some of the other guys know about visas. But I would have to think that dressing as a boy couldn't hurt.

You have never even met her!! How can you tell someone is trustworthy without even meeting her?

And, "not for sex"? Really. You are ONLY doing this for her intelligence?

Sorry lads, I have to go now....there is a flock of flying pigs dressed in tutus and playing trumpets going past my aparttment right now.

          Give me a break

haha.... sorry to disappoint... not just intelligence... there is a lot more about her that I like... and she is coming over as a friend.... i havn't met her but i have talked to her alot and ....and when a person is not trustworthy or has a problem with lying... there tends to be very little consistentcy.... and I have asked her a lot off questions multipe times and she always answers them the same.... and why would she be willing to come to the U.S.  knowing that she is no longer in any position to  do what a lot of ladyboys typically do to visitors to their country...such as steal or whatever else.... and yea she is just an all around cool person.... if you recall my first post I wasn't into the whole paying for sex thing... I actually wanted to meet people and go see some shows and bars. We talk on the phone for hours (I have a really great phone plan) and we send emails back and forth.... I am not saying its love.... I am saying that she is a really cool person.... a friend..... sorry if that's hard to believe but it's the truth.... I think that .... I don't know his name... but I  think he owns the site.... I think that he can probablly be a character witness for her... because she says that she knows him through his girlfriend... but I won't know that until he posts....again sorry if it is hard to believe that a ladyboy could want nothing more than sex or money and not want anything to do with  friends....hmmm
P.S. does anybody know the owner? How many liars do you know that can keep their story straight?

Well - good luck with your friendship.

Just out of interest does she have some pictures of you and you of her? It's only natural that she would jump at the chance for a visit to the US.

I'm no expert, but internet relationships are the easiest to keep going! They require little outlay both financially and emotionally. If the girl has, like you say, appeared on this site then be cautious about how deeply you allow yourself to get involved.

From reports sent in by other posters the PI girls are great company and I can't see how sponsoring the girl for a US vacation could cause any harm.

A word about the Visa process from the PI...

Unless your friend owns her own home or new car, has about a MILLION pesos in the bank or 2-3 credit cards and a good job don't even try the tourist visa route. It won't work. Oh, and the very first thing the consul will ask her is "Why are you going to the in the United States of America?" I wonder what her answer would be!

Obviously the fiance visa isn't an option! Sorry to sound so negative, but these are the facts.

                      Please re-send the PM...

While a legal representative may well show your enthusiasm for the idea of sponsoring a friend to visit the States it won't do much to establish her as a 'low risk' tourist.

I don't know about Aubreys personal situation, but I believe that she works at a beauty salon in Cebu and that's not going to work for you or her. I believe a lawyer and even the Department of Immigration will tell you the same thing.

Once again I'm sorry that this is sounding like all bad news, but you really are facing an uphill battle whether she is a friend or lover or whatever!

Yes it is a VERY different process at least in terms of the attitudes of immigration staff and the rules concerning entry into the US. It's waaaay easier from Mexico. Usually a decent job and a credit card are all you need...

Look back to some of my postings about my visit to Cebu. I said something like "I bet I could actually make some lb friends down here, which I could not say about Thailand".

And I guessed it was Aubrey. Never met her, but she seems cool and many of the other girls I met down there were cool as well. If you were saying all this about a Thai lb, I would have really let rip....after I had picked myself up off the floor laughing

PS - You are paying your lawyer by the hour right? I suggest you say to him "pay on success" and see if he accepts the job

I have also looked into getting a VISA for a Philippina to get a US Visa. Have you ever been to the US Embassy in Manila? Its a madhouse. They tried to help out the mass of people there by making you set up an appointment as of now it takes about 2 months to get an appointment. Stogie is right about this.

They just want the person to have some reason to go back to the Philippines. But all those things may help but it comes down to the consulate and the kind of mood they are in that day that is the only person that can approve it. If you know someone who owns a business maybe you can try a work Visa you might have some luck with that. Good luck christophcarey keep us informed.

But I am the only employee... amybe that could still work ...do you think? this is depressing but at the same time I was prepared for a fight..... do you think that maybe she expressess how her family back home really depends on her financial support and for her help at home? I was also expecting the long wait... which is part of the reason why we were planning for jan. or feb of next year... hey stoogie did you get the PM.
