Ok, here's the situation.....

I was at an open air market last night and saw this BEAUTIFUL girl that just took my breath away. Now, she's not model material mind you, but she's just so cute I can't stop thinking about her. She was one of these girls that works at either a makeup place or a skin treatment center, the outfit she was wearing was like the outfit the girls in those places wear. For the guys who live here in BKK, you know the girls I mean, they're either dressed in blue and white or in pink and white and always wearing stockings, this girl was in pink and white and she too had the stockings on. Anyway, she was buying fruit with a female friend and I was awe struck and wanted her picture. I mean, 2 years ago prior to moving here, many girls took my breath away but now, it takes a real cutie for me to carry on about, this girl was someone special.

Now at the chance of being verbally flogged by Suay (I love you hun!)

I could have just taken this beauties picture and could have been done with it. She looked at me drooling over her and she smiled.

Now, the question is....

To be honest, I never thought of humor......

I should have made a joke out of the situation and made pretend to click a picture just to get her attention and then ask her for real. I was so in awe of her cuteness that I was standing there with my mouth hanging open.

I mean there are some girls in town here like Gate or Joy that make me friggen drool anytime I see them, but drooling over a bargirl and drooling over a non working girl are two different things. This one just made a "lasting" impression on me.

Just take the picture. It's private to you!  If she objects, get her name, address and number and tell her you will post her a framed 8x10.  She will def take that option!

It dawned on me some years ago in Japan that the Japanese tour the world taking photos of people or asking people to take photos of them whlist they giggle and put up the "two fingered - per hand - peace sign".

So when ever I saw a strangely dressed japanese person I asked to take a photo and they sometimes "assumed the position", but always said "Yes".

I now do it everywhere except the USA, UK, Germany, Russia and ex- parts of the former Soviet Empire, Africa, The Middle East and anywhere where either common sense tells me I am likely to be beaten up or arrested or where I know local culture fears photos.

So, in Thailand I would not hesitate to ask - there will be no problems, and you might obtain a telephone number too.

I was just reading this post and looking at the picture and especially the one in the green dress (YES, I'd do her) and I thought....

"She's got the whole Tinkerbell thing going on"

and then I realized, the pictures are from Disneyland??? Am I correct?

Anyway.....she's cute and the advice you guys are offering is good and by presenting the said gorl with a nice framed photo would be a good way to meet her.

To be honest, I was just going to ask you first Snick, knowing you are a shutterbug anyway, but then again, this one I saw yesterday didn't have a cock and most you photograph are packing meat....hahaha
