ST rates drop to 800 baht!

I just flew back to Bangkok (after an extra week away)
The flight from Tokyo to Bangkok was 30% full, everybody had their own row of seats.
At immigration I found and empty line, went thru the whole airport in 25 minutes.
After a quick shower headed to Guess, empty
Cascades, 2 other guys - girls were having a yawning contest on stage.
Obsessions, maybe 3 guys - didn't stay for a drink
Temptations turned out to be the liveliest place, 2 other guys, but in a small venue it didn't feel empty. They also had the best/liveliest girls.

This is going to be a DEAD high season.

If the Democrats manage to form a government on Monday - I suspect the rapid reactionary force will be swiftly out and seats dumped on the market to generate tourism and any cash they can get. In return Thai Airways will get a bail out and everything will be blamed on the 'old regime'. Actually, I dont think the high season will be to badly affected for the whore monger market but the family market will be totally shot to pieces. What remains to be seen is the baht levels - something must be done about that and a devaluation of the baht is the thing they need to do (which will have the support of everyone as exports are being crucified (and again will be blamed on the old regime for hurting the poor).

in the last week i barfined a GG, and an LB.. (different days, yes!)
