It sure is! My first year in America was 1987, and the Saints went 12 and 3. (15 weeks? It was a strike year! ) I was living with a hooker in Metairie, and playing golf at English Turn. That year they made the playoffs for the first time ever! Bobby Hebert (pronounced 'Ay-bear!' French) was quarter back, and they had a damn fine defense... (Ricky Jackson, Pat Swilling etc...) They got the crap sewn into their boots by the Vikings! Ever since that first playoff game I have hated the Vikings!

Played what? Rush st. is for collage kids and tourists. I dont like it there to much. Give me an small hometown sports bar & grill and im happy. those places usually keep away the fat white madam's ! unless they go in to order a whole pizza for themself's

I admire your zeal and enthusiasm in supporting your favorite team. A true fan sticks with his team thru thick and thin.
To be honest and objective looking at the Saints' chances this year, I'd say don't get your hopes up too much.
Consider that they are in the NFC South with defending Super Bowl champs Tampa Bay, and also the Michael Vick led Atlanta Falcons. Not to mention a team with one of the more underrated defenses, the Carolina Panthers; who will also have an improved ground game with a solid OL and now a premier back to run behind them in Stephen Davis.
The Saints made quite a few changes to their porous defense, and how well they do will largely depend on how well they all jell together. In my view, it doesn't look like a big upgrade, but there are many unknown factors. First of all, rookie DT Johnathan Sullivan could be very good or a complete flop. First round DL draftees seem to have a 50/50 chance of panning out based on past history. It remains to be seen if he will be better than Norman Hand, who they'll get a look at on week one when they play Seattle. Hand will likely be primed to show the Saints that they screwed up by trading him. He has looked great so far in training camp, and Mike Holmgren and Ray Rhodes expect a big year out of Hand.
They replaced ball hawking big play specialist SS Sammy Knight with the more athletic faster Tebucky Jones. In my view I'd rather have Knight, one of my overall favorite players in the entire league. The situation at the all important MLB spot is unsettled. Orlando Ruff and graybeard Darrin Smith could end up both seeing time there. This is one defensive position, along with free safety that ideally needs stability.
Ruff is just average and Smith besides being long in the tooth by NFL standards is best suited for the weak side rather than the middle. That was where he made his name when playing for the 'Boys under the great Jimmy Johnson.
Rookie LB Cie Grant from the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes has opened some eyes so far in camp and they plan to give him a shot at the MLB spot too. He is very fast and instinctive, as well as being a big hitter.
One very big key in the secondary is if Dale Carter can keep himself out of trouble so that he can play an entire 16 game schedule. They need a shutdown corner and if without Carter, they don't have one. If he is in the lineup, they're solid back there, but if he's missing, they could get lit up pretty good by any solid passing attack.
If everything falls into place for the Saints, they could challenge for the playoffs, but they could also easily end up bringing up the rear in the South if they don't. I think it is very unlikely they could finish first in the South this year though.

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong though...

Chicago food? Too much waste! Make smaller portions and it will be soooo much better. I Had dinner a couple of times at the Signature Room, expensive but she was well worth it and I liked Bandera (right across Michigan Ave from the Marriott). But like you I like the smaller places too, though the vision of a large white lady stuffing herself with a pizza makes me want to throw up!
