  • Pattay for the first time...

(I'll move this thread to the 'Trip Reports' forum when I get back on Wednesday!)

I am going to Pattaya for the first time tomorrow. I am staying at the Nautical Inn...

I'm taking nothing of value and will just dump some clothes in a bag and hop on a bus.

It's a two nights only affair and I will add to this thread when I get back about exactly what I think...

Erm... first off... how do I get to the Nautical Inn! Do they have regular taxis like in Bangkok? I'm fucked!

OK - Hands up - should I save a buck and let the train take the strain?

Nah... I'll be getting the bus, thankyou very much!

By the way - one way from BKK to Pattaya is $1 (40 Baht!)

Stogie, At the bus station there'll be a bunch of baht busses waiting. Get on one that'll be traveling along Beach Road in Pattaya (most of them) and get off on Soi 11. You'll be getting close when you cross Pattaya Klang and soon after that you may catch a glimpse of Mr Shrimp's 99.

And if you realy want to be a tight ass, just book in to the Dynasty Inn in Pattaya soi 13 second rd for 2 night minimum and take the free shuttle mini bus from dynasty Inn Bkk to Dynasty Inn Pattaya, my last trip on 25th October took 1hr 45 min  Bkk to Pattaya, I used to take the Air con bus from Ekkamai for 90bt but the free shuttle is too good and leave bkk at 11.00am and be in your room before 1.00pm. I NO BELEBE!

as they say UP TO YOU.

or as i say AFTERNOON in room with ladyboy ! not yet!

                  rex.

                  p.s GO the Shuttle .
