    ASA slaps beer-punting ladyboy!

    The Advertising Standards Authority has ordered Tiger Beer UK Ltd not to rereun an ad which featured a rather fetching snap of a ladyboy punting the Asian throatwash.

    The advert - which ran in Metro and London Lite papers, as well as on posters - attracted eight complaints which insisted the image was offensive "because it linked 'exports' with a person in a sexually provocative pose, which they felt was inappropriate given reports of human trafficking for the sex trade."

              LONDON - A Tiger Beer poster ad depicting a ladyboy and a bottle of Tiger Beer as two of the Far East's most desirable exports has been banned by the advertising watchdog for linking exports with the sex trade and disrespecting Eastern culture.

                                          The Population of the UK is 60 Million and i would think that probably only a wafer thin percentage would think that this is offensive....So far i cant anyone. The commitee of the AAA that made this decision is probably no more than four people..
