What's really great about the Thai P4P scene is that there is the illusion for some that the girls aren't prostitutes. I have nothing against prostitutes (some of my best friends are prostitutes) but I don't like the hard core Western type.

How do they create this illusion? I think attitude is the primary factor. Paying at the end rather than the beggining helps too.

Right and moreover they don' t shower to often ,this island is so poor ,you should see the leaving condition of average peoples most don't have running water in their house and the soap cost to much except for those who are lucking enough to go in fancy hotel where
they can steal the soap from the room.

Actually; 'paying at the end' isn't the same all over Thailand. for example in Hat Yai (in the south of Thailand) you do pay at the beginning. The going rate is 1,500 Baht and that is for all night. What's cool is that even if you pay for her at nine o clock in the morning the fee is still the same... 1,500 for the whole night!

I picked up a great GG a couple of years ago and we spent the whole night out on the town having a blast. Dancing at the Bamboo bar (the only bar in "The Hat" to open till six AM!) and drinking, eating and bonking for ages!

I gave her a 500 Baht tip, though. She was cute and funny and just a joy to be around!

I met a girl from this site a few months back. She had recently spent time in Singapore and insisted that I pay first (quote "that's how we do it in Singapore"). I didn't really want to pay first, and told her so, and she dug her heels in. I paid, mainly because she had been very big on my wishlist for a long time (I did not tell her this or mention ATS to her). She was also in my hotel room before we had this conversation.

It turned out to be a pretty unsatisfactory experience and I regret paying her first. At the first mention of paying first I should have thrown her out of the room.

It also underscored JD's advice about not goint to BKK with a pre-concieved list of targets based only on the photos on the net. Next time I will hang loose and see who I can find by chance.

That's bull. I have never paid in advance in Spore, and in my opinion any girls who takes that view has a far higher chance of being a letdown than agreeing a minimum price and paying over that at the end if the service was great.
