  • Health And Safety Thai Style

Spent a couple of weeks in the Areca , soi Diana recently.

A great  hotel , but if you stay there be careful if you sunbathe at the back pool .

I'm lying down when suddenly a large shadow passes over head , behind the hotel a new hotel is being built , but the crane they are using is a little too big , every time it does a 360 degree turn it overlaps one side of the Areca pool , not a problem you might think , well the  problem is they are carrying pallets of bricks and girders

One day we hear an almighty crash , yep they dropped a whole pallet of bricks , luckily on their own side of the fence .

Needless to say I moved to the other side of the pool , I just have a feeling my Tesco yearlong policy is bound to have a get out clause if a Thai builder drops bricks on my head

Yes, it does pay to read the fine print in those insurance policies.

At least now I understand why you were wearing a hard hat whilst sunbathing by the pool.

At the time, I figured it was merely an attempt to avoid that harsh sun.

    Cheers

She's a lifeguard Seamus , not suited for heavy labour , but well trained in the breast stroke , the doggie paddle and can give mouth to mouth plus flip you over to the recovery position afterwards

ciobha, your avatar kicks ass.  Family Guy was replaced by it's lame doppelganger, American Dad on UBC series Saturday at 9:30, but it should be back soon, hopefully. Thankfully that shitty show King of the Hill is gone starting this week and replaced by The Simpsons @21:00.

PS sorry for being off topic

American Dad is darker and more satirical than Family Guy..I like it.

I agree with Brocklanders Family guy has too many 'this reminds me of the time when " as parodied in one South Park episode. American Dad is dark and that appeals to me
                              No honey, no money!!
