That was Mailin and yes, things just didn't work out....my own fault because I broke my own golden rule and had pre-contact with her before I  went back and then once we met reality didn't live up to expectations.  Nothing against her.... she seems very nice but I just didn't feel the way I thought I would once we met.

I only started posting recently, after 2 years plus, because I thought the forum was becoming stale. Too much back slapping and tip-toeing around issues.

Agreed completely.  I had a Thai gg girlfriend a few years ago in Sydney.  She was a million miles away from being a bar girl.  University educated, middle class, family working in the Thai government, really nice person, etc, etc.  The relationship broke up and I still miss her.  But the problem was, I hadn't a fuken clue what she was talking about, and she hadn't a clue about me.

Have to disagree Wisetraveller.  What you're describing is not so much a cultural disconnect as it is a common problem guys have trying to figure out what any woman is f'ing thinking about.

Who can figure them out?  Not me!

Here's a theory why the PI girls seem nicer and more sincere than the Thai girls. Except for a few cabaret dancers, all the Thai girls on this site are professional full time hookers. The PI girls are semi-pro in that why not occasionally earn a few extra pesos if they like a customer.

The Thai girls have seen it all and realize how full of shit most of us western guys are. Perhaps the PI girls are still giving us the benefit of the doubt.
