Buddhist holiday July 17 & 18th...

I'm arriving in BKK on July 17th which is the start of a two day Buddhist holiday.  Would any of the BKK regulars take a guess as to how this will affect the Nana Plaza and the Guess Bar?

It's a crap shoot and you'll only find out for sure by actually showing up and hoping for the best.

The 17th is the more important of the two, but its still a roll of the dice.

I did hear a whisper that Guess might be closed on the Thursday. But Stogie is right  

Most bars wont know anything till the day itself or perhaps the evening before. So just turn up and take a look.

Plan for bars to be closed, then if they are open it is a pleasant surprise.

One benefit of these holidays is no barfine if you hook up with someone who works in a bar.

Nana was closed last night so i went down to Patpong . Everything was open as normal. Beer was served in paper cups until 10pm when the glasses were back out and hey presto back to normal. Nice new 19 YO Ladyboy called Poy just joined so i took her back for a test drive just to pass the time...yum..yum
