Was in Linda Bar in Pattaya with a few friends last night. Went to take a piss, maybe in bathroom for less than half a minute. When I leave the bathroom to go back to the bar I have to pass through a narrow corridor and there is a ladyboy on her knees in front of a cop just about giving me no room to get through and it looks as if she's taking money out of a wallet and giving him money.
I didn't want to look too close figure it's better to mind my own business but it looked like a shakedown. One of the guys I was with said maybe she owed some kind of protection money and the cop had seen her come back from a shortime. Or maybe it was a customers wallet, who knows?
There's something really appealing though about hanging out in the sleazy underbelly of Pattaya. Linda Bar is bizzaro world given some of the hard core that work out of that joint. But there are a few nice one's too. Just another fun night vacationing in my favorite town!
