the answer is YES and I have done it twice. My girlfriend has traveled to Spain where we did tourism and met my parents and visited me and stayed 3 months in another European country where I am resident...

The answer is YES .. the problems are:
1) money
2) VISA
3) to be passable at all times

As JD said, sounds like a great idea in theory, but the execution part could get rather messy. I've seen harassment by farangs in BKK if they found out a girl was really an LB. Can't imagine what would happen in Europe with some drunk Euro trash or in the USA with some American louts hopped up on beer and liquor. Pass for me.
