I think barowners believe that farang customers don't want to see pageants. Maybe true if they were every week but when it's once or twice a year it would be nice if ladyboy bars would show it even if volume were off.

They were but its all fixed, didnt you know. They use whats known as the Mugabe system to vote. . Never mind its still nice to see some manicured and polished Ladyboys every year.

there you go TC, an incorruptible judge!! However, I think that if a contestant offered to gain points another way, you just might be swayed, if she was a preop!

TC is right, the winner is generally "locked" ahead of the contest. Some perfect examples of this were Nong Poy, Miss Tiffany 2004, and last year's winner Nong Film. I am not so sure about runners up, but certainly the winners are. They want to make sure the winners are not involved in p4p as she will be representing Thailand in the Miss International Queen contest in the fall. I have heard that last year's 2nd runner up Oil (formerly of Casanova and now in Obsessions) was a favorite for this year, until her work history was discovered.

I followed rx's link and there was some nice content there.

I've heard of Tiffany's and always tracked the winners, but never really could be bothered to get off my rear to find a live viewing until this thread popped up. Unfortunately, I was unable to catch the live webcast as I was having a show of my own at the time

Here's how my logic went, tons of beautiful lbs wrapped in a show? What's there not to like? I've sat through a few clips of the pageant and I agree with JaiDee, once in a life is enough, or in my opinion 15 minutes is enough.

I'll wait for the pics where I can flip and pause at my leisure.

TC, you missed my comment about jadeite's link in post 29 - he linked to photos from the Miss Thailand Universe contest (ggs), so two different contests. However, it gives a chance to compare the ggs to the lbs!

My pick as I watched the show on web TV here in San Francisco was for number 18, I did think that the overall quality of the ladys this year as compared to last years contestants was lower. I had that personal assessment verified when I called back to Thailand to talk about the pagent. The LB'S who were watching the show at my home in Surin agreed that there were no outstanding LB'S this year so they did not bother to text message their choice for Miss Tiffany.

Ah, #7. She's a sweetie alright. I remember seeing her participate in the previous Ms. Tiffany's. She was runner-up or 2nd runner-up then.

She's still gunning for the top spot.
