Their slow pace, small increments, and frequent participation makes me think these guys are counting their pennies. They just want a site for redirects and they won't be starting a new venture with that site.

It's a good system of auctioneering. The auction ends when noone has made a bid for 24 hours.This way there won't be any last minute 'sniping' and it seems to be working as the price of this domain name (which left me in the dust at $1,100) is now at 3, 200 bucks!
