When I was in Pattaya last year, met a non-working LB and we hit a few bars without any hassle. She had only lived in Pattaya a few months but never mentioned that some places restrict LB's from entering. If you see a place you want to try, go in and see if they say "sorry, no Katoeys"....what do you have to lose?

Touching base with bar management is an excellent idea.

Jomtien might be a good mellow change of pace for you and only a 10 baht bus ride away.
See Sally (Thai TS) or Tim (English guy) at Sally's.
See Lulu (Thai TS) or Toto (Thai guy) at Toto/Lulu Bar.

For bars like Jenny Star Bar if you walk in with two farangs you'll be just fine. But I think it would be a bad move for you to go alone.

If you want to hang out in ladyboy bars in Pattaya I'm sure you'll be welcome. Especially in a bar like Lita's. But to be honest you'll probably be a bit bored unless you're on the pull.

You could arrange to meet a board member or two and that may help break the ice, but showing up on your own will have one of two reactions...

1 - The cold shoulder...

2 - (More likely) you'll be embraced with open arms and subjected to zillions of questions by the local ladyboy maternity. In fact if you are night owls you'll likely be asked to join them on a round of after hours clubbing.

The reaction will be determined on how busy the bar is (quiet is best) and how friendly you are to them. (Buy 'em a drink!)

Don't know when they started this 'policy' or why, but right now they usually do not allow LB in.

But like all rules in Thailand, it resembles swiss cheese.
Some of the Jenny Star Bar girls get an exemption,
and for a 100Baht slipped to the guard I can usually get someone in. But not 100%, they did refuse once.

As for Lucifers on Waling Street, I don't like the place, so never tried to bring anyone in.

When I was at Alexanders in Soi Crocodile a few weeks ago, GG bargirls came to me and were really friendly. It was actually the first night I bought a GG a drink, as well as one GG buying me a drink!    Unlikely indeed..

i agree with grumpy's suggestion and further recommend that whenever you ladies decide to rendezvous, you do so at Lita's (or another low-pressure bar of your choosing) and pm a few of us fine BM's and allow us to buy you a round or two, trade local mobile #'s there, and thereafter you'll have little trouble finding an amenable companion for all the NSA bar-hopping you desire.

I took a couple of LBs from BKK to the cabaret in Patts and afterwards we went around the LB bars, it was a bit tense at first but I bought some drinks and after chatting for a while it was OK.
They got bored after a while, and dragged me off to one of the dreaded boys in white underpants venues, where I spotted a guy I used to work with in Liverpool of all places.
