(statuesque @ Jan. 23 2008,00:37) I have noticed, from my not-so-extensive experiences, that theres a high number of divorced men who pursue TGs, romantic or sexual, afterwards.

Im just wondering why. Any reason behind this?

Take a look at most divorced middle aged Western women and you will start to get an idea

(FB-lover! @ Jan. 27 2008,02:32) Okay, a question for you: would you say that these 'divorced men' you're referring to, are they generally nice for a girl to know?  Just curious about why you asked the question in the beginning.
Uhm, I cannot really say for the general population of divorced men since the first time I started dating was about four years ago and only had two previous relationships ever. What I can only tell you is how these guys have been with me, as divorced men, and that they have taught me so much. I dont know if being divorced enlightened them enough about relationships because there are those who are in their fourth marriage already and still believe the wife should serve them 24/7 or something. So I wouldnt know if being divorced increases the chances of a guy to be nicer, more mature, etc in a relationship. Well, at least he should be!!!
I'm glad those have been nice for you, though - I think that's what you meant? I always laugh at myself because I think it took me a long time to grow up in many ways.

If a girl is younger, it's not so really (or at all) wanting to be with someone immature, it's just that women seem capable of wisdom at a younger age sometimes.

Physiologically, women do develop earlier than men because their bodies are designed to "carry" another human being inside them, which means their bodies are more complex. And also, female IS the default sex during the first trimester of pregnancy! No wonder baby girls can speak earlier than baby boys. (OK, I think I might be brewing a Mars versus Venus, out-of-the-topic discussion here, haha!)

From my own personal observations divorced men (except for that sad breed of serial marriers who must have a strong masochistic streak) are tired of the fighting that led to the divorce and (in many instances including my own) the brawling that goes on after.

Personally I detest arguing with partners now and will simply shut up when confronted by a hostile situation, walk away and try again when the adrenaline/testosterone has settled. For me this turns out to now be true in relationships of a professional nature also. With my kids, it's the one thing I have to thank my ex-wife for.

Whether my more relaxed nature is directly a result of divorce or also a sign of maturity I cannot be certain but it makes me happier and more thoughtful - overall a better package. [hint, hint ladies]

I'm certain not every divorced male's attentions turn to trannies/ladyboys - just the smart ones.

Don't worry, it only seems kinky the first time
