I don't think that Pacman was being sarcastic! Although I personally did not see the correlation between your posts and the posters he mentioned.
And Kahuna was joshing in a light hearted way. Stabbing people isn't his style.
By the way - Your style and attention to detail (not to mention that I agree with you!) enriches this forum...
I'll look forward to your ideas and opinions in the future. Cheers...

FFS .......... I had just written a nice follow-up to my complmentary post when I read your crack about me getting my panties in a bunch & the offence you took at my inclusion of the 3 posters.
You could not have mistaken me more, thank heaven I didn't post what I had written or you would really have thought I was taking the piss.
I was not including you in with those guys - they are people who are vigorous debaters who at one time or another I have mixed it with on the board. Except Ziggy, I was blissfully unaware of his reputation except I know he got a few off-side.
Straight shooting, powerful writers are needed around here to bring a few wayward threads back into the real world & my mentioning of these guys was an oblique reference to some "determined" writers, so oblique I should have left it out.
For someone so new to posting you appear better versed in their efforts than I am, but be that as it may, if I was being sarcastic you would know it isn't my style to be paying "maximum respect" at the same time.
Didn't you find the paradox odd? Or is it just me the odd one around here?
Welcome to the forum GM, not as complimentary as what I had just written, I think I need to watch my words much more carefully.Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

(goldmountain @ Apr. 27 2008,23:09) A charcoal fire and some ribeyes and Porterhouse steaks for everyone.
But I rather settle for a nice steak. When and where?
Do only what you think it's good for you, and not what others think should be good for you!

Your SO sounds like he's already comfortable with his sexuality. Though hopefully he's not one of those who need to have his own children, by own, I mean having you pop some babies.
I also wouldn't put too much in store over his Virgo sign. I really do not think there's much correlation between someone's zodiac sign and his eventual perspective of life.
Hope it all works out!Always yield to temptation, it may not pass your way again.

Genitals are genitals and the goal of both partners is to make the others feel good. Girls with a penis or vagina is still a girl to me. Obviously, not everyone would be so accepting but if they were of the mind set that the brain is the most sexiest organ, it shouldn't matter.
Now, as far as the supervisor at work...it could work out or go sour. Time will tell.

(jaymee @ Apr. 23 2008,23:28) I'm really curious on the above. My SO found out about me recently via googling some stuff on myself - which really was my fault in the first place since I was googling about his ex gf.
Anyways - he didn't seem totally angry but seemed extremely curious and "elated" to some degree (he was smiling to be precise when we talked after work). I've met folks who were extremely interested in my past after finding out so I'm not exactly sure if he's turned off or something - even though he's asking so much.
He has admitted having one night stands with ladyboys prior to him finding out - however he said he did so during his army days where it was apparently OK to do so - I get the feeling the average guy doesn't venture into this isn't it ?
He's out drinking with his mates still so I'm here wondering about the potential blowback. He happens to be one of my managers as well as a virgo and my close girlfriends tell me he'd be fine with it as long as other people didn't know - since virgo's place a ton of emphasis on pride.
So back to the topic title - does it take a unique type of guy who'd be into transgirls at all? Since the idea seems to be repulsive to most dudes. I'm trying to gauge if he'd still be into me since his mental frame of me seems to have shifted considerably - he used to suspect I had a kid before coming to the current revelation
About whether it takes a special guy, the answer has to be yes. Not that I think the members of this forum are special per se, they are thinking in a broader way than most people will. I have asked several hetero friends if they'd ever date a TS woman, and I make it clear that she is attractive, nice, intelligent, post-op (they'll either freak at the idea of a penis or it is too much for me to expect they'll admit that this could be okay with them). A few of the most open-minded will admit that it seems possible to them. I even make it easy for them to admit by stating that I could envision being in a relationship with a TS. I have done this to get a sense of where people are in their open-mindedness.
A rough estimate of guys people I know makes it seem that only about 1 in 20 have the open mindedness to date a TS AND the guts to say to friends and family that they're not going to tolerate any bullshit from them about their girlfriend.
I come from a conservative background but now live in a very liberal place. The one in twenty applies to the people I consider liberal.
Then again we all know 10 or 20 or 50 or 100 members of the opposite sex whom we think are interesting and could be potential partners, and it is still a rare gem that we find at the right time and with whom we really have a chemistry.
If you have the chemistry, take the chance. See what happens. The idea that he would be uncomfortable because of his friends' opinions is more of a problem. Such people are immature. Our own happiness is a result of seeking personal contentment, not in ensuring the contentedness of our friends.
POLRetired the top 12. Need a new dirty dozen.
Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon. Is it possible to find 5 more? Until then, GGs: Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.
