Mid -April is the hottest time of the year in Thailand and the celebration of Songkran, which basically turns into the worlds biggest water fight for people from age 4 to 74.    for anyone that has never been to Songkran, try and make it this coming year;  it usually happens between april 10 and 15  but it's always different so check the calender.
