My first poll! i have been coming to LOS since 2000, so 8 years for me now, i've just realised that i should have put another choice (have not set foot in LOS),please post if you have not been yet.

First time in 1983 but visiting there with a certain constance since 1992-3

One regret is never visiting befor 2000,but what the hell i go now. Only been interested in LB,s since 2004 so prior to that i have managed to see a fair bit of thailand. I will admit that i use to be a backpacking knob,but least i didn't have braids and tie dye. LOL

I First went to Bangkok via Kuala Lumpur when 11 of us went on Manchester United's Far East Tour in July 2001

We flew with Malaysian Airways out of Manchester and as luck would have it we were on the "Same" Plane as the Players of Man United on both outward legs of our Journey.

We were "mobbed" by fans at both KL and BKK Airports thinking that "WE" were actually the Players  

We stayed at the Twin Tower's Hotel in Bangkok and I spent the first night signing autographs of Roy Keane in Patpong because they actually thought I was him   and I didnt want to "insult" them thinking I was refusing.

Another incident on our first night was when we hired 4 tuk tuk's and asked them to take us to Delaney's Irish Pub.
After about  20 minutes of racing through the streets of BKK we arrived in a back alley in front of a big Massage Parlour.

When we inquired "what the fuck is going on?", their reply was "You here" You here" " De Lady's" "De Lady's"  

"Unforgetable" and "Fuckin Priceless", fell in love with the place there and then, "God Bless"    

I discovered the "charm's" of Ladyboys in August 2004   and never "looked back"  

This coming May will be my 12th trip to

I've been going since 2002.

I wanted to get stationed there when I was in the USAF, circa 1974, but by the time I was up for a transfer, they were sending all the airmen home and closing down. The guys who would come back, no matter where they'd been stationed, Korat, NKP, Takhli, where ever, they had a similar story about a friend who encountered a lovely lady in a bar, who after further exploration turned out to have a cock rather than pussy. The friend in the story was always repulsed, horrified, etc, and beat a hasty retreat after this discovery.

I never said a word, just listened and thought wow, how I would like to meet such a lady as that.

Then in 2002, thanks to the help and encouragement of both that guy Jon who used to post on the old yellow forum, and Mr Lonely, I made my first visit. I was addicted very easily after that.

Thank fully being fed up with 18 to 30 holidays, and nearly not qualifying a friend suggested LOS...never heard of the place!! Europe only at that time chasing drunk British birds... yuk...              
     First landed on the xmas of 1989 and spent 2 weeks in the Marine disco in Pats... oh so much to learn...

80 odd trips later and enjoying the apprenticeship still hooked and love it.

1st visit was in 99 on route to australia for holiday, then went to live in Thailand 2005 for 2.5 years leaving in 2007 doubt i will live there again but thte experien ce was good.
