We have been through this dozens of times.

You know as well as anyone, that escorts post their rack rates, just like hotels. Sure, some guys will pay that, but I guess most won't.

That's not a small issue.

I'm not at the point where my life would be ruined if someone saw me walking out of Nana, but it would certainly create problems for my girlfriend, so I try to avoid going there too often.

But I can easily imagine where a trip to Nana would be absolutely FOOLISH for some people (Nicholas Cage? a CEO of a major company? a Catholic bishop? etc....)

For those people, paying a premium for an escort has almost nothing to do with her looks or "quality". Sure you might be able to find girls of equal caliber on "Rowell Road" (or whereever), but then you'd have to be SEEN on Rowell Road too!

So for those guys, they aren't paying for extra hot looks or extra special sex. They're paying for discretion.

Personally, I'm a cheap bastard, so I can't see doing it. But I can easily imagine how an extra $200 or $300 might seem like a bargain to someone who needs to protect their VALUABLE image and income bracket.

I agree with Stewart. The price is a rack rate. And in the Asian context, everything is negotiable. They set the price high, doesn't mean that their bottom (line) is that high.

Usually, the price is 2 tiered. If we declare that we're locals, we get a better deal, or none at all, if the lady decides she's marketing herself solely for "Gentlemen".
