yes, I know exactly  what you mean and believe me, I AM looking!  I would love to have a steady  who is a 'nice'  girl  and whom I could  spend the majority of my time with, believe me.   I had one for a  while  but her dream of getting cut did not gel with mine of her keeping it,  so once she found  someone to pay for that operation we were finished.

         'not looking in the right places' is the problem, as you, Stogie, and Salma and many others have rightly pointed out. Meeting the  next 'Miss Right'  will not happen in  a bar or even at a model shoot; most of the ones I meet through contacts are hookers also.  So yes,  I must try other avenues and try to find one that is not in the scene; Snick and I talk about this often.  he lives there  TWELVE  months a year and still hasn't been able to find one so  I guess I am not so bad off.

        2  missions this summer when I am  here for 5 straight months [I return to the states from late may until late October every year]......Learn Thai [at least more than I know now, passable hopefully] and meet a  'nice girl'  on line.  you are right, I don't like  face-pic and hate chat rooms,  but I will have time so i will try and pursue this.

thanks for mentioning this and believe me, it is a mission I am on and hope to accomplish.   nothing would please me more than to find a girl who is just 'my type' and who can keep me home and away from my butterflying ways. By the way.....i KNOW that i could fnd this in the Philippines easily! I just prefer living in Thailand.....

You said it before Jon - the PI girls are really the perfect solution.  Let's analyse the data !!!

a) They are fantastic looking just look at Sama or Chantal !

b) They speak and understand English far better than the thai girls

c) They are not full of hormones and can cum while making love which is a real hottie for me !

d)  They don't bitch and expect you to take them shopping

e)  They are genuine and fun and their innocence is wonderful

f)  The PI is a paradise and cheaper than Thailand which should appeal to all wallets.

g)  From reading between the lines I think the PI girls will cherish you more because the thai girls have had it good too long and are greedy as hell as they see the likes of Som living it up and sticking her nose up - not good not wanted.

I can go on and on but your honor I rest my case.  Elementary really !!

a) because of the abundance of beauty in Cebu a girl with the KILLER personality is always popular!!!

b) English is taught as a language and an IMPORTANT and UNNEGLECTED one from the time kids are seven years old onwards...

c) most Cebu girls do not hook so they cannot support financially hormones! but they still manage to look veeery attractive..


d) many girls appreciate the life of down-to-earthness (probly because of the Catholic influence)

e) our innocence is fun because we are not WHORES!!! more or less 70% of cebu's LBs are UNIVERSITY-girls which you are all looking for!!!

All of Salma's points are well-taken and correct. The PI would indeed be the perfect place to settle down and find romance with a nice girl who is not in any bar scene. since i can live anywhere in the world, Cebu could be a nice alternative for me next year, but I know I would miss Thailand. also....which girl would I choose? there are so many available girls in Cebu, really more than the potential pool of westerners there to take them out.

I am first time poster to this forum, but an active reader. this topic finally spurred me to post. I think that Jon's complaints, in this post and others, about the greed of prostitutes is misguided. We can't expect them to act like our "girlfriends" becuase they aren't our girlfriends! Most of us are looking for very attractive 18 to 20 year old gg's and lb's to fuck us when we want and how we want, and to act like theier enjoying it while there at it. thats not how real relationships work, real relationships are about mutual desires, and mutual attraction. most of the beautiful lb's we frequent would have no interest in in a middle aged man who doesnt speak thier language and is culturally alien.
lets not delude ourselves. regardless of our whether you are at a bar or a university its dificult for middle aged men to meet attractive young women who are attracted to us. If it were easy there wouldn't be much business for prostitutes. I hope you find what you're looking for Jon, but don't blame the girls if you can't find it.

i agree with all this, Gideon, but I have never doubted what you say; i REALIZE that these girls are with us for the cash and aren't really emotionally attached to us. I have said that all along; as soon as a better chance comes [or a younger guy?] they would leave us in an instant, so we should never get TOO attached because someday the girl wwe like will probably be gone.

But your post is too generalizing, and basically what you are saying is that it's impossible to have a sincere relationship with a Thai ladyboy. To prove against this point, all you have to do is look at the forum moderator, Stogie; I hate to use his GF Kui as a frequent example, but their relationship is based on nothing but mutual respect and admiration for each other. Stogie is more than twice her age and doesn't have a pot to piss in LOL, but she still hangs around. Because she likes him. and there have got to be others out there like that, doncha think? If I never find one, then yes, I will not blame the girls that I currently hang with for not providing me with more just a screw.

no big deal here....i apreciate that everyone wants to see me happy and have a nice girlfriend someday, but I am realistic enough to know it probably will never really happen. Hell, I only stay in Thailand 3 or 4 months a year total and I am always looking for new, younger and cuter girls. boyfriend material I am not! I should be happy with whatever I can get......

One of your problems is that you want your cake and eat it too-dont we all!!! Not that is a huge criticism.....also you tedn to think the grass is always greener.... Sometimes it si - sometimes it isnt!! But your idea about learing some Thai_ANY THAI- is GREAT!! If you are spending so much time in the Kingdom, you have an OBLIGATION to have a go at the local lingo. Now your bar girl buds (potential pay for play buddies) will not like this as they dont want us learing the lingo for obvious reasons. however it would give you a better chance at meeting uni girls. It shows you are willing to learn and respect their country much more than many farangs are. Thai is a tough lingo to learn but its worth a go-I say that as someone who is good with langauages as I speak about 4 of them I guess you coulod call me a cunning linguist!! It should be EASY to get you a competent, native teacher to give you lessons but you have to be commited-at the study that is we all know you SHOULD have been comitteed a long, long time ago! I am sure Stogie knows someone and I am certain I could point you in the correct direction if you are serious about this undertaking! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!

not necessary....I have a local kid here and his girlfriend who are teaching me at 20/lesson; they are from BKK and live here now going to college and like the extra dough.   I hope by next fall  when i return for the winter  I will know enough to 'get by' or  at least be able to listen in when the people around me are speaking Thai.  since Thailand WILL be my home some day, it makes sense that I learn it, and it is my home for a few months per year now, so it is something i should do.  

       I was also wondering if this was the same Gideon from NYC....must be.......it's been a while man!
