    CASODEX

Casodex is used to treat prostate cancer!

It is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen with no other known endocrine activity. It competitively inhibits the action of androgens by binding to cytosol androgen receptors in the target tissue. Prostate cancer is known to be androgen sensitive and responds to treatment that counteracts the effect of androgen and/or removes the source of androgen.

The primary side effects of Casodex are breast swelling or tenderness, hot flushes, itching or dry skin, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and lowered sex drive or impotence. Many of these side effects are temporary and may subside during prolonged usage.

It's an anti-androgene, mainly used agains prostate cancer. I'd recommend rather finasterides - better for the hair as well. But it depends what kind of estrogenes you take in combination. Pls check out this site: http://sexuality.org/l/transgen/m2f.html#level
...and pls consult a specialist!!!! It makes me crazy that you take hormons like bloody Aspirine. Breast cancer is no fun!!!!!

Is it good as an antiandrogen or a testosterone blocker?

Why do you insist on this? Only because you have it? It's very uncommon for a MTF treatment. Pls check with a doc before. I don't know if there are any specialists on Cebu. I'm sure there are in Manila. You can also write to Anne Lawrence http://www.mindspring.com/~alawrence/. She's a quite helpful person.

          Pls take care
