reading some of the recent posts about 'good girls' and non bar types and where to find them, it strikes me that many ladyboys work in department stores like Robinson's and other stores around Central and MBK, working as clerks for 5000 or 6000 a month and probably hating it. Chompoo told me once that she started in BKK as a shoe store clerk before working at Obs; she went to the bar scene and makes 10 times what her salary was there, and that is almost impossible to give up now.
sometimes you can meet girls like this if you are lucky enough to catch them just coming off the bus coming from the country and they have only been working in the store for a month or 2 and haven't yet heard the stories of the riches that can be found at Nana and Patpong. taking a girl like that would be good for both of you; she has someone nice who would buy her things and take her to restaurants, etc, and you get a girlfriend who is not looking for 3000 baht every time you sleep together.
maybe Snick and me have to start hanging out in these places rather than Cascades and Obsessions every weekend LOL. waddya say, Snick....meet ya' at Central Department store next friday night?
