I'm sure lots of people travel to Indonesia from other asian countries, not so much from the west.
There is sure to be many business men travelling from other nearby countries.

Yes, you are probably right and when I researched it, most foreigners to Indonesia are from nearby Asian countries. Bali accounts for over 60% of Indonesian tourism. Interestingly enough, the Philippines gets only half the number of tourists that Indonesia gets. So maybe these girls are doing well on the tourist trade as well as the locals.

Probably all the ladyboys make trips to Bali. There is lots of Muslims in surrounding countries that may visit, westerners mainly go to Bali I expect.

It seems like a fairly moderate Muslim country. The government is not Muslim but it is a majority Muslim country whose population is of 242,700,000 Muslims, the most in the world..
They aren't constantly at war and they do not support Muslim terrorist groups, of course they virtually have no direct neighbours. Not to mention they live in a tropical paradise. So it doesn't sound too scary for tourists or business men. Not like going to Pakistan or Iran.

I noticed that a number of the ladyboys wear the hijab. That must be an extra kinky twist for Muslim dudes.
