I think as you get older you turn to different things. What I thought was sexy 4 years ago is not what I think is sexy today. LBs never did a thing for me until recently. Now I'm a junkie.

Once men pass 30 they are open to a liberal view of sexuality for biological reasons too. Men's hormone balance goes awry after 30-40. The most significant hormone imbalance in aging men is a decrease in free testosterone while estrogen levels remain the same or precipitously increase. One cause of hormone imbalance in men is that their testosterone is increasingly converted to estrogen. One report showed that estrogen levels of the average 54-year-old man is higher than those of the average 59-year-old women. Two things will greatly accelerate this: being overweight and alcoholism.

Think of what this does to your attitudes about sex. You are a guy with moderate levels of testosterone, and very high levels of estrogen. It's going to make the older man a lot like a ladyboy (only not as good looking).

It gets worse. When there is too little testosterone present, estrogen attaches to testosterone cell receptor sites throughout the body and creates many problems in aging men. In youth, low amounts of estrogen are used to turn off the powerful cell-stimulating effects of testosterone. As estrogen levels increase with age, testosterone cell stimulation may be locked in the "off " position.

High serum levels of estrogen also trick the brain into thinking that enough testosterone is being produced, thereby slowing down the natural production of testosterone. This happens when estrogen saturates testosterone receptors in the hypothalamus region of the brain. The saturated hypothalamus then stops sending out a hormone to the pituitary gland to stimulate secretion of luteinizing hormone, which the gonads require to produce testosterone.

One further complication of excess estrogen is that it increases the body's production of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). SHBG binds free testosterone in the blood and makes it unavailable to cell receptor sites.

Not sure I follow all that, but estrogen levels generally increase female characteristics, like greater emotional instability, bodily changes, and reduced sex drive; at least that's what I understand, and none of those seem to show up in us old farts, actually the opposite.

As for Ladyboys im not sure how they figure in this and whether the hormones tip them one way or the other. I dont meet many LBs in the 35+ category so i dont know if they are sex mad or not.

My point is that the imbalance in testosterone and estrogen is likely to affect us mentally ... open us up to alternative sexualities. We have all been conditioned to act like males, but we want to start 'bottoming' and chasing after ladyboys, femboys and so forth.

Also, injections of testosterone will not necessarily restore balance. Because the receptors may become immune to the effect of testosterone, all of the injected testosterone may be quickly converted (by the enzyme aromatase) to estrogen. To stop this you need componds like clomid or anastrozole

BTW, if you don't believe that all of the injected testosterone may be quickly converted (by the enzyme aromatase) to estrogen, consider that one of the biggest problems bodybuilders have is so-called 'bitch tits' (or gyno is what they usually call it) where the estrogen produced from testosterone megadoses causes breasts to grow (actually better than your Thai ladyboys). Apparently once you have gotten gynomastia -- bitch tits -- they keep coming back like a bad case of herpes. You've been warned! If you take test, then make sure you use an aromatase inhibitor.
