Did you know that 1 in 1500 people are born with ambiguous genitalia? Some have "micropenis" (almost the size of a clitoris), some have very large clitoris (almost the size of a penis), some have female reproductive organs but a penis, there are even cases of one testicle, one ovary, women with glands that produce too much testosterone and get male features, men who produce too little testosterone and get female features, etc.
They are called intersex people. There are a total of 16 different kinds of intersex conditions. 1 in 1500 is a LOT of people.
The crime, initiated by John Money, a pschologist at Joh Hopkins University, is called something like "optimum gender of rearing" whereby doctors are expected to decide to do surgery shortly or not after birth to "correct" the genitalia. In some cases, where sex is ambiguous (many cases), the doctor is God, and decides the sex of the child. Sometimes it has drastically bad consequences (he guesses wrong, and the child is raised in the wrong gender).
Likely on this forum, we have intersex people, because many people are not informed of the surgery at birth, and there are also conditions like having 46, XX chromosonal makeup (which is the 'normative' female makeup). Which you would never know unles you had your chromosones checked!
By the way there is one karotype called Kleinfelter's condition, where the person has a 46 XXY chromosone makeup (most men are 46 XX, women are 46 XY) and tends to have a lot of female features. Of all intersex conditions, this is the one I wonder about if some Ladyboys have it (no science to support this view by the way).
