You are soooo right about the comfort factor. I've never been to Thailand and have never met with ladyboys in the Philippines, although I've been there many times. However, I got to spend time with one ladyboy from the Philippines and one from another part of Asia, who came to Los Angeles on separate occasions. The only reason they agreed to meet me was the comfort factor. Re-reading that brought a smile to my face...sometimes it's best to just be yourself.
